His attitude was that this was a death sentence. Told me that I needed to get a biopsy and that he could only do radiation once via port (incorrect). Also said that I could not drive due to sensory seizures which was false since I never lost consciousness. I mentioned second opinion and he immediately went on the defensive and got pretty ugly. To quote " Well do not come back to me to remove the staples" ! Long story short, I went to UAB and eventually had the tumor removed and underwent radiation and oral chemo. I waited 3.5 hours for an appointment because the nurse sent me to the wrong location in the hospital. I was also there for a test regarding a VA claim, and they billed me. Not how VA works at all. Even if they fix this, I will never forgive them for the stress they caused. When I raised my concerns about lack of training the operator literally told me "I don't wan't to hear it." Don't request your medical records because they will tell you that you have to physically come get them, even if you aren't in AL anymore. I have been in pain for years and trying to get some help, and yet, can't even get aperscription filled because it was coded wrong and still waiting for someone to take care of this. It is insane and they are supposed to be specialist. What a joke.
