When speaking with her I noticed she seemed a bit out of her body as though she maybe had had too much coffee or something, she was not grounded and present. We spoke for a bit then as instructed I laid face down on the table and she went to my right lower leg to move it and pulled it sideways in the opposite direction it naturally goes - I felt a warm sensation and knew in that moment something was wrong. For two months after that my right knee was in pain whenever I would walk anywhere. That was a few years ago, and I still at times upon walking too much (not often but it still happens) I feel there is a pocket of air in my right knee or very extremely subtle discomfort. I'm very grateful it's so very subtle, but it's still there when it wasn't at all before I went to see this practitioner. I didn't even go in for my legs or knees, it was for my spine. It just felt like it was sloppy service which has resulted in some sort of permanent injury. A reminder to anyone who reads this - if you notice any practitioner you meet does not seem present and in their body, cancel the appointment. Even if you're in the room. That is your right and okay to do. Not in a mean way, be kind about it but do what you feel you need to do.

Kevin has been a tremendous help with overcoming a nagging sports injury, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for massage therapy. Highly recommended!

There's a guy there who does 'reflexology' but actually just rubs your feet. The new owner has very poor communication skills, and he totally messed up my account. The young male student was legit, but they couldn't give me a receipt since he wasn't a registered RMT. He was the only saving grace, and I hope he hightails it out of there when he finishes his practicum experience. He actually helped me somewhat with my injury. The next ten minutes consisted of her pressing on my tailbone with one hand while playing on her phone with the other. She then went on to give me a one handed massage with varying pressure based on (I'm guessing) how interesting her phone was at that moment, and at some points stopped to give the phone her full attention, sometimes even making little noises as she read. She also left the room at two different times during the massage. Overall the worst massage I ever had. Worse than one of those disinterested massages coerced out of a friend when you have a kink in your shoulder.

I also like how it has a glass door (wave to open) to separate the treatment areas from the reception waiting area. This place is where you can get massage therapy and acupuncture treatments. Each room is relaxing with tranquil or spa music being played (playlist is dependent on each practitioner). There is a basket to put your clothes and phone in the acupuncture treatment room. I see Dr Koh for acupuncture and she is wonderful. Very caring and she listens to your concern. In the past, I dislike needles so she usually uses baby needles or does more cupping on me. Now I still dislike needles but can tolerate them more, so I think she uses the regular needles on me now. Besides just cupping and acupuncture, she is a TCM, so she also takes my pulse to check how my organs/body are doing. She has suggested taking supplements and medicinal tea or avoiding certain food to help with the ailments. The front desk staff is always very friendly. Paid street parking out front. Sometimes I park at Anvil Center if there is no spots and walk across.

IT'S A FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE, NEVERMIND THAT I'VE ONLY SEEN ONE!" Plus, I can always update this review once I see an RMT there... But for now, here's why it gets "Yay! I'm a (very enthusiastic, I might add) Fan!" 1. I saw Shaun Lemke. He was patient. He listened to me and made sure I was comfortable with everything he did. I appreciated his explanation and his demeanor. 2. I always used to say "I have never heard of someone who was healed by a chiropractor, but I know a lot of people who go all the time." As a result of Shaun's care, I know why they go. I'm inclined to believe that more often then not it's because it feels good, rather than because they need it. 3. You know when you see an RMT and you're like "man, I wish you would put a little more muscle into it?" Yeah, well, that's what chiropractors are for. 4. No B.S.? He healed me. When I walked in I was truly suffering from some neck woes that meant I couldn't look both ways evenly. I got about 90 degree rotation on the left, but only about 80 on the right. When I left, I could go 90 either way. So I'm a fan. The office assistant was nice, the place was clean, I was fixed and comfortable... and now I'll be back. Probably for that other neck thing he said he'd do when I was comfortable with chiropractic treatments. And after that? Well, my pinky hurts, so I should probably go get an adjustment.
