I totally agree with SafeHaven on the subject of equal opportunities, good stocking and open tills. I am not so impressed with the cleanliness of the store and toilets, and find the shop unbearable at the week-end. But I don't mind it so much at night when it is nearly empty. Quite a large asda situated on the edge of the town centre. It has the usual departments although they are on on smaller scale than the larger Wallmarts. George, DVD, pharmacie, photo, small homeware isle. It does have some good bargains if you get them quickly The shop is showing its age and it is difficult to park during certain times of hte year. read more

Asda supermarket in Nuneaton is very conveniently situated between the bus station and the train station. It has a very large car park, so although on busy occasions like a Saturday afternoon you might have to park in the far corner and walk a few steps, you always can park. The facilities of the supermarket are very good. I think the store manager must be on the ball because the shop is always well stocked, the floors are clean and the toilets and café are very clean. The tills are always well manned and if there are more than two people queuing they will always open another checkout if at all possible. The in-store bakery is great and has the facility to make the printed celebration cakes. As far as monster supermarkets go, its not half bad! I also applaud the stores decision to employ on an equal opportunities basis, as a number of the staff have learning disabilities and it is really heart warming to see more able employees support them in their day to day duties. read more
