After a while of looking around we decided on a bed and went to talk with the sales man, he was so friendly and helpful. He went through all the options discounts deliveries etc and managed to get us an amazing deal. The bed was delivered on time after about 2 days, and they helped set it up for us too! The store is laid out in room style to encourage customers to recreate it rather than buy individual items. However IKEA caters for everyone from gay couples to family units with prices keenly designed to reflect all budgets. All very democratic and equal. The food in the cafe is cheap and fairly tasty but it could be better as everything is made off site before being assembled together insure. The cafe is messy as people don't clear their tables and IKEA keeps staffing levels low. After choosing your goods and before making your way to the checkout. Do take a quick peek at bargain corner. You may find damaged rubbish but you can also buy perfectly good ex display stuff. There is ample free parking outside the store. They sell a good range of furniture although the choice in each range is quite small. I would not call their style of furniture modern or contemporary but it is not old fashioned; A little in the middle. I bought a table and six chairs from there five years ago and the table lasted for 3 years after which the wood started to bow. It was quite cheap so I did not expect too much. I would not buy from them again though just because of this reason. If you do don't pay full price as they have some good sales.

I've been having problems with my bed claim for nearly 2 months, as the buck seems to get passed from Benson Beds to Kingsdown, back to Benson Beds, and then to myself, and back again. In all honesty, if you are looking at buying a bed from Bensons, please, please, please, don't buy anything other than their own make, as at least then, they can't get out of replacing the bed if still in guarantee. Final thought, check out any other bed supplier!
