Every time I come here I feel as though I'm a bother to the staff when asking for help with the printer. When I go to the front desk next to the front door, I'm always directed to the other desk where the much older and slower librarians are. When I get to the librarian desk I am met with two older librarians who can barely speak up loud enough to hear through the glass. I asked the older woman for the stapler to staple my packet. She takes the stapler and attempts to staple my packet only for the staple to not go through. She is older and frail and doesn't have the arm strength to staple. When I asked to staple it she said, "don't take it away." How can you be stingy with a stapler than you can't even use? And if she's not there, the older white man is and he's no better in customer service; his "customer service" is cold and rushed. It's nice to come for a quiet place to study (with the occasional random outbursts from the homeless, mentally ill, or drug addicted persons). But if you'd like help with ANYTHING, don't bother with this location, unless the plus sized Latina librarian with blonde hair is in there. She's kind and helpful! read more
