I have been attending The Ascent Church since April 2025, and I can truly say that God is moving in this church! I have witnessed so many beautiful testimonies of healing, restoration, deliverance, changed lives, and renewed faith. Most importantly, I found something I had been searching for--a church family where love is flourishing. The Ascent may not be for everyone. If you come only to judge people by their past or by what others have said about them, you may miss what God is doing today. I believe we should look at the fruit, seek God for ourselves, and allow Him to speak to our hearts. Dr. Paul and Pastor Patti are some of the most loving, welcoming, and caring people I have ever met. My personal experience with them and this church has been filled with kindness, prayer, encouragement, and genuine love for people. The past is the past, and what has been written or reported by others does not define the story I have personally witnessed. I choose to look at what God is doing now--the lives being touched, people being restored, and a community growing together in faith. If you are searching for a real encounter with God, want to know Him more deeply, and desire to connect with a loving Christian community, come visit The Ascent Church in Westlake, Ohio. To me, it is a beautiful hidden gem where God's presence is felt, His love is shared, and His glory is shining. Come and experience it for yourself read more

Father and son walk. Absolutely disgusting. "A pastor at Westlake's Church on the Rise resolved his case of allegedly sexually molesting a girl after reaching a plea agreement. Paul Endrei, 56, of Avon, pleaded guilty to endangering children and authorities dismissed charges of sexual battery and gross sexual imposition, according to Jack Bradley, Endrei's attorney. Endrei will not have to register as a sex offender, Bradley said. Charges against Endrei's son, Jordan, were dismissed as part of the plea agreement." http://www.morningjournal.com/article/MJ/20161017/NEWS/161019516 read more

Today in the United States, it's easy to find a church. It's a Christian nation. And it's a place of sculpture. That's why I found Ascent Church. Ascent Church is a church that feels like a family. A safe, Christ-centered church. One that makes you feel welcome and allows you to grow in the pure truth of the gospel. A contemporary church, without compromising the holy message of the Word. Just as I was welcomed, you are welcome too, regardless of race or social status. Christ is for everyone, and they are committed to living and preaching it. read more

Church On The Rise is an amazing church, where you can feel The Holy Spirit flow abundantly. An absolutely inspirational worship is always followed by Pastor Jordan and Pastor Patti preaching a great word, making the Bible relevant to people's everyday lives. Moreover, my kids love going to church! I don't know of too many churches where kids ask their parents if they can go to church on Sunday. I strongly recommend Church On The Rise to any family or individual trying to grow in their spiritual walk with Jesus! read more

Welcoming and friendly congregation. The welcome team is kind; the ushers work hard to ensure everyone has a seat, and you can sense how devoted the worship team is to honoring the Lord. The service is well organized, and the pastors teach solely on the Word. The great thing about this church is that within the first few times you attend, they plug you into the right ministries so you can share your gifts with others. Overall, great experience. read more

This church changed its name, it used to be named Church on the Rise but had to change its name because it's lead pastor was arrested for molesting his 14-year-old daughter. Paul Endrei then pled guilty to corruption of a minor and had to change the name of the church because it was hurting his coffers. They also teach a false prosperity gospel https://www.cleveland19.com/story/33407498/paul-endrei-westlake-church-on-the-rise-guilty-plea read more

Church on the rise is a church for the whole family. My wife, and daughter have been attending there for 9 years. The pastors have been there for us through a lot. Dr. Paul officiated my wife's mom and my mom's going home services. When I was ill and in the hospital they were there for me. They've prayed for us, given us advice, and guidance. It is a great place for someone who is new to the faith and looking for a new church home. read more
