Recently, after seeing Angella for my initial follow-up dose of Dsyport, I ended up getting a touch-up with a Dermatologist in Norcal because I did not have time to come back down to LA within the time frame that I needed to. For context, my masseters are just extremely strong and sometimes require more units than expected, since it depends on how much teeth grinding I do both at night and throughout the day, all of which is heavily influenced by how stressed I am from school and work. This is unfortunately something that I wish I had never done because the Dermatologist's approach was not compatible with the goals that I had communicated to them, leaving me with my left masseters looking larger than the right as well as my face looking rounder because of where they injected the Dysport. Waiting a couple of months for this second round of Dysport to wear off was extremely frustrating and interfered significantly with my understanding of my image. When I saw Angella again after 4 months, she was able to notice the imbalance in my face immediately and explained the exact technique she was going to use to address the issue in a way that aligned directly with my goals, which she remembered. I walked away from this appointment feeling so grateful for her and so excited to be reunited, and also so sure that I would never let anyone else touch my face out of convenience ever again. Unfortunately I didn't get the results I was hoping for…read more I'll start by saying Dr Sayana is an extremely intelligent woman, and she was overall very enjoyable to work with, excellent listener and very patient. So this review has nothing to do with her manners, just the fact that I got so little results for the crazy cost. I don't think she is the best fit for patients with digestion issues because there were some basic things that were missed. However, she knows everything about hormones you can so she gave me some solid advice in this regard. So even though I didn't make much progress and I have to be honest it wasn't the best use of my money, I feel it would be unfair to rate her low because I still learned a lot. I think if you have hormone issues/going through menopause and can afford this then you will get great results otherwise I would stick to more pay per visit doctors. Even Dr Sayana herself extended my program for free when I wasn't getting results so she really cares about her patients, I just think there are better options if you have chronic complex health issues. This is a better fit for basic problems like PCOS, if you have the money for concierge, I think you will have good results.

My appointment took place at the Sherman Oaks office, where I received a warm welcome from Dr. Conwisar and his staff. Everyone was very supportive, and I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. Not only did they truly listen when I answered their questions, but Dr. Conwisar went through great length to familiarize himself with my case. After examining my shoulder and testing my limited mobility, he offered me a pain-relieving treatment, which I gladly accepted and that finally allowed me to start moving again without feeling constant pain. Before that treatment, he explained to me what he would be doing and how it would work. After the treatment, he requested that I receive physical therapy to help improve my mobility. I will be seeing him again for a follow-up visit next month, and I look forward to it. Thanks to Dr. Conwisar, the pain relief set in within a day or two and the previously ongoing inflammation seems to have finally been eliminated. As a result, it is making my physical therapy sessions with the awesome PT team at TLC Rehabilitation so much more effective. I ended up here and I am glad I did! After a few short months of seeing Dr. Naim, I was fine. More…read morethan fine actually. And it's now been a year! I dealt with anxiety for years off and on. I went on and off medication. I spent years seeing therapists. So many ups and downs. One day the anxiety escalated tremendously to the point where I couldn't sleep. I was seriously spiraling out of control and couldn't even work. My usual psychiatrist couldn't see me for 3 months. I know had I gotten into see him, it would just be a 20 minute appointment and more medication. My primary care doctor put me on Xanax and Ambien as a temporary fix. It was like putting a Band-Aid on a gunshot wound. A trusted friend recommended Hope Psychiatry and said there was no one better. When I called and explained my situation, I was seen within 24 hours. The intake paperwork is extremely thorough, more thorough than anything I've ever seen. They do not take insurance and I've come to discover that the people that are really good typically do not take insurance. At our first meeting, I started rambling and would have gone on for hours. Dr. Naim stopped me after 20 minutes and said he knew exactly what the issue was and how to resolve it. He said when he was done with me my issues would be gone. He slowly transitioned me off of the Xanax and Ambien. He is not anti-medication. I used an herbal tea to sleep and he prescribed something else that was non-habit forming for use as needed. He said the goal was for me not to need medication anymore but if I did need it, he would prescribe it. Fast forward a month, it was challenging to go through everything with him. At one point things were pretty bad and he said it was the last gasp of my issues getting out. Turned out, he was right. I started improving every week. About 3 months after first seeing him, I was done. It's now been one year. I've had no relapses. I have no anxiety. I'm having to deal with more challenging situations in life but it doesn't affect me anymore. I have a great perspective and I'm all better. I know I'm able to tackle just about anything. I've also been off the medication for a year now. So instead of just masking my problems, he actually addressed my issues. What a concept. Dr. Naim and his staff are incredibly kind. I just wish I hadn't spent years and years wasting my time trying to get help elsewhere. He was able to resolve my issues so quickly and completely. Highly recommended!

The office is very clean and well sized, the front desk were friendly and got me checked in quickly from waiting room to exam room within 2-5 minutes. Only thing I would prefer is if patients could drop off their coat/stuff in the exam room before being weighed/height checked since my raincoat added +5 lbs to my measurement lol. Nurses were super nice and friendly as a new patient, I brought in my prior medical records for reference and office scanning. Joanna Goll was incredibly knowledgeable and had great bedside manner as we discussed my health concerns while being newly pregnant. She ordered a bunch of labs which is great for new patient records and Manny switched in to take blood work in the same room, super convenient so I didn't need to go to an offsite quest center. Unfortunately, our experience with the nurse practitioner, Debra, completely overshadowed the positive interactions with the rest of the staff. My boyfriend was seen for a painful superficial skin issue and was prescribed doxycycline. When I asked about the significant sun sensitivity associated with doxycycline, Debra dismissed my concern and insisted that all antibiotics cause sun sensitivity. Rather than acknowledging that tetracyclines, such as doxycycline, are particularly well known for causing photosensitivity, she argued with me and didn't seem interested in discussing alternative treatment options or explaining why doxycycline was the best choice in his case. What was even more concerning was the lack of discharge education. We were not given clear instructions on how to care for the wound or perform dressing changes at home, which is basic patient education after treating and dressing a skin lesion. I am a registered nurse and work very closely with physicians, surgeons, and anesthesiologists every day, so I understand that every medication has risks and benefits. My concern wasn't that doxycycline was prescribed--it was the dismissive attitude and the inaccurate, oversimplified explanation I received when I asked a reasonable question. Patients deserve to have their concerns addressed respectfully and to receive thorough education before leaving the clinic. We left feeling frustrated and underinformed. While the rest of the staff was kind, the quality of care and communication from Debra fell far below what I would expect from an urgent care. I hope this feedback encourages better patient education, more respectful communication, and a willingness to address patients' questions instead of dismissing them.

Josh proceeds to try and stick a metal tweezer into the soft tissues of an autistic child anyway, instead of just saying they didn't have the proper equipment for safe extraction. Made my son bleed. Had to drive to another urgent care to get it properly removed with a balloon extractor. Terrible. If you can't do it just say so instead of harming children.
