After enjoying a day at the Christmas Markets eating fried potato cakes, French fries with mayo,…read moreand mulled wine, I craved something fresh and healthier for dinner, like sushi!
Chao Asian Food and Sushi easily satisfied my craving. My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed maki rolls, tempura shrimp, and a shared sushi platter.
I love temaki rolls, think of seaweed shaped into a cone, filled with rice, fish, cucumber, etc... Chao's version included avocado, which added a creamy texture and flavor, to accompany the fresh salmon. Plus, I requested that mine be prepared spicy, which they were happy to do. It was SO good, between the three of us, we pursed 1 normal and 3 spicy :-)
This friendly restaurant is located very close to the cathedral and to the Ludwig museum. You'll find it overlooking the Rheine.
I recommend making a visit to Chao to satisfy your sushi cravings.
