If you live in a NYC co-op, you already know how huge that is! A few things I especially appreciated: * They stayed within their original estimated range (~$1900-2400), even though the project required a second visit after we discovered my older Kohler valve needed a retrofit adapter that no longer ships with current trim kits. * Communication was responsive and straightforward. * They clearly knew their way around older NYC plumbing situations and co-op logistics. * They accommodated the work during boiler/heating season (October), when many plumbers were either fully booked or unwilling to deal with co-op paperwork at all. One useful lesson for other co-op owners: if possible, bundle multiple plumbing issues into one project. The insurance/admin overhead for co-op work is real, and combining repairs makes the job much more practical for everyone involved.
