I won't be here for long and if you bank with this company, get out while you can. I was with Republic bank for around 5-6 years and never had issues! My husband had an account with this credit union through his work with Reda Pump and we live in…read moreCalifornia. He died nearly 3 years ago and he did not designate any beneficiary for his credit union account. I sent Truity the death certificate and a copy of the will. In California, wills are set up as a family trust. Unfortunately it wasn't an easy issue in Oklahoma. They needed a letter from the a court stating I was the beneficiary. To get that document, the legal fees would be more than the account was worth. Over two and half years ago, the agent told me that Truity would forward the money to the State of California Unclaimed property. Here nearly 3 years have past and this has not been done. I called today and spoke to an agent and was told that this was not done, that he would refer it to the right department, that he he didn't know how long it would take, and he wasn't able to notify me when the notification was completed. I searched all over the website for a way to discuss issues and concerns about customer service or complaints and found no way to discuss this complaint with anyone or a way to follow up if the issue was resolved. That is poor customer service. I have no confidence in Truity as a banking institution. Pam Pezone

I receive an email every day from credit card resolutions asking me to call 918-338-5904. It claims…read morethey will return my call that day or the next business day. However, I have been calling for two weeks, every morning and afternoon, and even went to their "chat 2 us" to complain about this department. I used DocuSign for a payment arrangement of $40 to be deducted monthly, but they submitted $81 twice, which my bank refused to process. They are aware I have cancer and my husband has had surgery. Despite us paying $100 a month, they canceled our card. Since we agreed to the $40 a month payment plan, they continue to harass me and do not answer the phone. Do not use Truity Credit Union. They will cancel your account when you are struggling financially, even if you are making payments. This is bad business. I even paid off a car loan with them, and they still did this while we were making regular payments. Now they are trying to ruin our credit. The individuals in credit resolutions and at the credit card department at Truity Credit Union are simply terrible.

It is one of the few institutions who act like they want my business. I have a checking, savings accounts and had a loan without a hitch! They were also extremely understanding when I lost my husband of 45 years.
