The arvest ballpark is fantastic for families and baseball. It has a nice playground area with a train in the outfield as well as other fun, exciting activities for children. The park is very comfortable with good seats anywhere you sit. The park has suites available available for rent and on-site catering that can provide excellent food choices for your guests if you choose to host a birthday party or something like that. The food at the ballpark is portable and taste good and has good service at each of the concession stands. The baseball games are well attended by local fans and families who enjoy a fun night at the mall park. The team is entertaining to watch and we are glad to have a local baseball team to support in the minor leagues. read more

Arvest Ballpark is a great place to catch a baseball game. There is ample parking at the stadium ($6 - cards accepted) last time I attended. If the baseball isn't enough reason for you to visit, there are plenty of other things going on - kids play areas, picnic style seating on the concourse for conversations, your ball park standard food fare and beverages! Super nice ballpark in Springdale. Home of the Naturals. We have been to a few games and to their yearly free movie night. Always fun, lots of seating, payio areas, and shade. They have a nice gift shop when you need to get in the A/c. There's a play area for kids with inflatables and a train to ride. Weekend days they usually have some sort of special like dollar hotdogs and Saturday night there are fireworks. The only downside is the high prices of food, which I guess is normal. Hot dogs and pretzels are $5, fries and nachos $8+. We did try the bbq fries today, and they were delicious though (around $11). They also have a Dippin Dots and Lemonade stand. Every time we have been on a kids or family day, they have a free gift when we leave - today it was Oreos and baseball cards. They also have a clear bag only rule and you can't bring food or drinks except one sealed water bottle per person. read more

I'm 76 years old. While waiting outside the gate for my son who had our tickets, I realized I needed to use the bathroom. The gate attendant would not allow me inside to use the facilities and there was no bathroom outside the gates. I had to go back to my car and drive to a gas station. Once my son arrived and we were able to enter the park, we went to the concession stand. Th game started as we got in line. It was the 3rd inning before we got our food. I wound up throwing away my hotdog because the bun was so stale I couldn't eat it. Didn't feel like standing in that line again. read more

The big leagues get most of the attention, but none of the big leaguers would be where they are without some time in the minors. It's not as flashy, but it's a little more laid back and the young up and comers can take their time working their way to the big show. The words written above apply to minor league ballparks too and while it's definitely not as flashy as its big league counterpart, Arvest Ballpark is a gem tucked away in the rolling northwest Arkansas countryside. The park is a small two level structure with hard backed reserve seating on the main level and suites built up above. For those of you who want to relax there's plenty of berm seating in the outfield where you can lay down a blanket and watch at your leisure. Got kids? You're in luck. There's a fairly good sized play area with an inflatable slide, jump room and other activities that will hopefully wear your little ones out. There's also a cool little mini train that will take your littles on a quick little ride around the park. If you're hungry and thirsty the ballpark definitely has plenty of options for you. The prices are higher than you'll find at the store, but I was pleasantly surprised they weren't major league prices. You can definitely treat yourself and your family for a reasonable amount. Like I said above, it's definitely not the big leagues, but it's still a really good time. I hope you have as much fun as I did. read more

What a great minor league baseball field this is. Almost fills like a big league ballpark. Great seats with great views plus the food they serve is is always top notch. I like when they have dollar hot dogs and they always serve up cold beers!!! They are affiliated with the KC Royals so there's always a major league prospect playing here most times. We love coming to the ball games and cheering on our Naturals! They have a children's area for when your kiddos get a little antsy. In the area they have bouncy houses, train ride, pitching and batting, that cost a little extra. They do have a playground as well. Always great food and deals in their store. To begin with, I love minor league baseball. In fact, I would prefer to go to a minor league game verses a MLB game. My family and I moved away from NWA for several years and we are extremely happy to be back. While away, we would visit both of our sons in Charleston, SC and one in Tulsa and attend minor league games there. We became both River Dog and Drillers fans. Yesterday, we decided to go the park to watch the Natural's play the Drillers. While the Naturals got blown out (2 - 9), I came away with several observations: 1. You have to pay $4.00 to park. I could understand paying this in more of a metro environment, however the park isn't in that type of environment. 2. There were only a couple of thousand people there (the paper reported 3,147, which must have been tickets sold) for a 2:05 game. Many of the luxury boxes were also empty. 3. The cheapest ticket was $8.75 for berm seating. It didn't matter as most folks sat wherever they wanted as there were so many empty seats. 4. The gift shop had very little merchandise in it. Most parks also sell game used equipment, not here. 5. Refreshments were extremely limited and expensive. For example, a 12oz cup of Miller Lite = $7.00. 6. The environment is very sterile, way too corporate. 7. Will I go back, probably not. Recommendations for improvements: 1. Loosen up. The Naturals should benchmark other successful franchises to incorporate in NWA. 2. Evaluate pricing principles to determine if current prices are a barrier to attendance. For example, you can get into a Tulsa Drillers game for $6, $2 on Tuesdays. The Drillers also have a ton specials going on all the time as well. The last time I went with my son, I got a ticket, beer, and hotdog for under $10. 3. Incorporate more food and beverage offerings in the stadium. Add vendors selling boiled peanuts, more local beer choices, and add an element of fun to the experience. At the River Dogs game they have a mystery beer booth whereby you pay $2 to a person behind a curtain and they hand you a random canned beer. Pretty fun actually. BBQ would also add a nice touch. 4. Add more merchandise in order to sell more Merchandise. There is one shop and it is incredibly lame. That's it, if you do visit the park, bring your credit card! read more

Nice local ballpark for the NWA Naturals. I've been here a few times and have had a good time! Large parking lot and easy access into the park. Seats are decent size and comfortable. Such a great place for families! It's centrally located for all of NWA and it isn't an overwhelmingly large stadium, especially for someone's first time. One of the things I love about the games is the constant crowd interaction and the community involvement. Concessions and souvenirs are pricey but that's part of the experience. Got a suite for our dental office staff to thank them for being awesome. Suite had great food and beer and sodas ready for us (no hard liquor). You order ahead what you want (of course ballpark prices). Staff was amazing from ticket takers to our suite attendant Elizabeth! We were in suite 23 which is on third base side. Was shady the whole 6:05 game. Nice! Air conditioned and then later we opened the sliding doors to the outdoor stadium seats and it was cool and breezy and a perfect night. What a great place to bring the family! I'm a frequent flyer here and have sat in every section in this place. I have yet to find a bad one. They have excellent vendors, staff and baseball. The have all kinds of great food from different locations around the park. All have many choices and beer! The staff is absolutely the best! After you get to know them the become even more friendly with you and if you have a young one with you. You just might get a few extras if you arrive early plus there's tons of rides and throwing game for them to play. In addition, there's a train YOU can ride wyour child on. It goes all the way around the park. It also a great way to familiarize yourself with the park. The baseball is outright awesome. It's in your face baseball. The whole park and it's amenities are all brought together to provide great viewing and play by play announcing. The players will sign your balls caught as well as broken bats if you take your kids down next to the dugout at the end of the 9th. Especially if they win! Just ask them! They are very approachable. Loved our time here! Their 4th of July fireworks were amazing! Parking was reasonable and they had good food options. PS don't order any waffle cone ice cream. We saw cashiers and other staff "helping" the people making food by grabbing the cones, including the top sprinkle part we all love to lick and eat, with their bare hands. Gross!! Arvest Ballpark is a great facility. It is easily accessible and very family friendly. Fortunately for us we attend a ball game each year compliments of our financial planner. This event is held in "a suite" so we get very good treatment. This most recent visit was in the suite. The food is fun, standard ballpark fare, hotdogs, popcorn, Cracker Jacks, etc. The folks at the ballpark do a great job of involving the crowd, lots of fun things to watch and participate in during inning and/or pitcher changes. Arvest Ballpark-home of the minor league basesball team of the Arkansas Naturals. Great new stadium and without a bad seat in the house, tickets are from $6 lawn to $8, $10, then $12 premium seats . Because of no bad seats, don't worry about ordering online to get seats behind the dugout or 3rd base/homeplate because they charge a $2 processing fee and $2.50 per ticket. The window clerk was more than willing to help us find the best seats for our group still available and I could see it all just fine. Check online for specials as every game has some kind of promotion. If you can go on a "fireworks" night, the show was great. I was impressed by the amount and size of the show.My first game last night at the new Arvest stadium. Although our team lost, it was a en enjoyable evening. Not a bad seat, good game, lots of activities, crowd boosters and the fireworks show was impressive. Now, one knows the food and drink will cost you a small fortune (3-5x what my tickets costs) but one does expect fresh food. Our family notes: Burger-cold and rubbery, fries-cold and hard, cheese pizza-simply gross and hard cheese, pretzel had been hanging for awhile and the salt was brown from toasting so long-hard, thank goodness for the cheese to dip it in. The brat with peppers and onions was probably the most decent and most fresh. And you can't go too wrong with ice cream. Now, there is just something about going to a ballgame, a craft fair, the county fair and eating the food, its just part of the experience but SAVE YOUR MONEY AND EAT BEFORE THE GAME!!!! You and your stomach will appreciate it later. If you must, stick to beer or pop, a bag of peanuts or ice cream. Otherwise, bring the snacks in your purse ladies for you and the kids. All but sunflower seeds!-the guards who check your bag will not allow the seeds in the park. Apparently it damages the drainage system when they wash the stadium out. With so many games a week, this will be a frequent "to-do" to go unwind on a nice evening. read more

Attended opening day 2015- great park. Wonderful sight lines, ample leg room and cup holders. An impressive variety of food items and a beer list that rivals any park. There appears to be many special events on the schedule. The biggest knock against the park is the location, or more specifically the lack of infrastructure as the Park is serviced by two (poorly maintained) two lane roads, several miles away from an exit to the express way. So close to being best of class, but falls just shy. read more
