Allie greeted us as we walked in the door with her wonderful southern charm. So many things to choose from, from Art, jewelry, and many many novelty items. Mike definitely has an eye for art. What he he does with the pictures that he takes his self is incredible. He touches them up to bring out the beauty of the colors and then puts them on a wrapped canvas. I would love to decorate my house with at least 20 of his photos. If you are in Wilmington North Carolina, this is a must. I will guarantee that you WOULD LOVE the store. I am so happy that we found this place.

I was so overwhelmed at the many gorgeous hand made wooden pieces on display in the store from all of the US. There is something for everyone and I fell in love with a chess board with weighted pieces made in an Amish community. I had it shipped home-my husband loves it and the grand kids ask to play every time they visit. One of the Grands wanted a chess set for his 12th birthday so I called the store, Janet was so kind and patient with me trying to buy this board over the phone. She mailed it to him in Little Rock AR which got there in time! I just visited the store again, during the 3rd annual girls trip and purchased ANOTHER board with weighted pieces for my son in law for Christmas...a request from him. And once again, Janet was extremely helpful and patient with me, trying to decide which one to purchase and ship home. I look forward to calling her again for another special gift for someone in my family!! Greatest store ever!!! Thank you Janet and Gary!!!

I'll echo some comments on the cashier (owner, I think, if not owner take heed). I happened to be standing behind a local with whom she was having a nice conversation, I waited patiently for them to finish, they were having a discussion on facial care products. It was sweet and the cashier was very responsive and friendly. After a fairly long wait, I greeted the cashier. The reception was cold, unwelcome, almost to the point that I wanted to put the items back, but had expectant grandchildren behind me. I really like the contents of the shop and it's displayed very nicely. Some time spent on customer friendly service will make a tremendous difference.
