My boyfriend is the ultimate shopper. He knew what was there, including Bulk Barn. As someone who grew up in the Beaches area of Toronto, I was hoping for a real boardwalk. Oh, well. I can't win 'em all! The first store that I parked in front of and visited was Solutions. The closest one to my home is in Richmond Hill. It's nice to frequent a different one. I was greeted promptly by a staff member. It was nice that he said hello. He didn't ask me what I was looking for, which was nice. I looked at all the sale-priced Sistema water bottles and salad containers that were in front of me. Wow! Lots of variety and colours. I love this brand, so I took my time sifting though​ everything. Since back-to-school sales have started, I was looking at shelves and racks. I may need to come back next month and see how some of these items will help me with my organizational projects at home. I ended up getting some 3M Command strips to hang some picture frames at home. I also got a hedgehog toothbrush holder, and penguin and polar bear hot and cold packs. Checking out was painless. I skipped getting a plastic bag. I simply carried my items to my car and got a fabric bag from my truck. I spent a good hour in this store. It has an extension in the back of the store that has a variety of tablecloths and kitchen aprons. We were there for a while to figure out if the tablecloth we chose fits our dining table. The owner followed us to either help or got suspicious if we were stealing from her. And asked us about the size of the table and said, the sizes are written there (she was implying that what's the hold up when the sizes are written). I was a bit irritated and felt discriminated, but tried not to view it like that and thought to myself maybe she was having a tough day. But, now that I read the reviews on Google Maps, I know that my initial thoughts and feelings were right. Elora is a touristy beautiful town and store owners are expected to treat everyone equally and with respect.

This place is awesome. They have a little bit of everything. You'll be surprised with what you…read moremight walk out of here with. Lots of really cool military surplus stuff. A lot of camping and survival gear. The tool section is a bit sketchy, Its mostly all made in china crap that will break the first time you use it. I got a 3/8'' ratchet extension and i twisted it right off on a 1/2'' bolt. But you get what you pay for i guess, for $3 you can just chuck it out and buy another one. Overall a cool store.
