Been trying to find a good barber every time I visit Minnesota for work, just been going to the…read morebarber shop at the mall but it was so inconsistent some good cuts but a lot of bad cuts. So when I found this place which was pretty close to my hotel thought I'd try it out and I'm glad I did. Wyatt was just a super chill dude who listened to what I wanted for my cut and at $30 you can't complain, definitely will go back here again.

Got a clean cut from Calvin who's the first barber when you enter. Cool dude from Ohio and was very personable and works in a timely manner. They'll definitely my go-to now! 5/5 would highly recommend. Parking is a lil tricky but if you go one block down from the shop you'll find street parking.

Usually when I go to barbers the trim on top is enough so that it matches the side lengths, not here though I guess. He also barely cleaned up the neck hair on the back. Overall the cut wasn't good, and was charged 35$, way too expensive for a bad haircut. If he did a good job then it could be justifiable. No lineup or anything, so crazy it was that much. Maybe the quality varies per barber, mine was Calvin.

Worst experience I've ever had in a barber shop... My wife and I stopped in on our way out of town…read morebecause my normal barber shop was closed that day... The barber went on and on saying that my wife is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen (making both of us very uncomfortable), and he kept saying that she is way out of my league and how did I get a girl like that which just seemed mean and uncalled for.... He also kept low key putting me down during the cut making weird comments, lol and I didn't want to stand up for myself since he was cutting my hair and I didn't want him to purposely mess it up.... The haircut he gave me was pretty mediocre and not good..... I highly recommended avoiding this low vibe guy, check out The Barber Sharp north east, they are incredibly friendly and give top notch cuts every time....

Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by the owner, Kelly. She was very friendly and welcoming when I walked in. I had scheduled an appointment with Nick Stewart and didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Nick is very welcoming and easy to talk to. He has a lot of experience and the best part - he listened to what I was looking for. He didn't go as short as most barbers do - he really stood out for me. The cut is priced at $34 dollars. You just cannot beat that in the city. I'm excited I no longer have to look for a barber.

That all changed with this appointment. Set aside anything involving how nice it truly is to have someone take care of you. While he's absolutely amazing at this aspect of his job, where he really shines is the personal touch he provides during the process, which will be a unique experience for each individual. He was able to keep me relaxed while taking a straight razor to my face. That deserves an award in itself. I will absolutely be returning in the near future for another shave and haircut. I've decided that it was such an overwhelmingly positive experience, I will have to start coming on a monthly basis. It is well worth it. If you're looking to get a haircut, and pamper yourself a little, I can recommend no better way to do so than stepping inside this oasis in northeast Minneapolis. Great job, guys!
