The majority of tattoos performed at Physical Graffiti are custom designed to meet the client's own specifications, but there's also a variety of flash in the shop to provide inspiration. Inside it looks pretty much like every other tattoo parlour you have ever been too, tattoo designs all over the walls, and men with big beards, jeans and black t-shirts on, standing behind the counter. But I was pleasently suprised, the staff were very friendly, chatty and polite, I was told I would not be able to have an appointment for 2 weeks as I could only make it on Wednesdays (my day off) but after a brief chat I was told to grab a seat and they will squeeze me in as soon as possible....Brilliant! All the tattoo needles are fresh from packets, the whole place seems to be constantly wiped down with sanitiser by one of the staff, and each tattoist section was gleamingly spotless....The guy that did my tattoo drew it free hand, and it's perfect.... I can't recommend this place enough, I will definately be going back.

I downloaded a picture of the design I wanted ( an ancient symbol for the God Asclepius, if you were interested) and was dead-set on having this tattooed onto the nape of my neck. I went into Holey Skin, a bit nervous to enter this unchartered territory, and asked Doc Croc how much a tattoo of this design and size would cost. Looking back now, I know I wasn't in my right frame of mind and am glad I didn't go through with it. However, I know that if I really was serious about getting a tattoo then I would definitely come back here. The place was spotlessly clean and all the staff were happy to allay my fears and give me advice on the procedures.
