Having my photo taken had become a nightmare. All I could see was my crooked nose. Whenever I was looking into the mirror, my eyes were constantly drawn to it. Friends told me that you can do clever things with make up, but I did never manage to get it work. I thought my only option was a nose job.
When I heard about Dr Sarah Shah's non-surgical procedures, I was somewhat sceptical. Surely, my nose was beyond anything you could fix with injections. After reading more about the non-surgical option, it seemed that is a less paiful method and with shorther recovery time. And the price was affordable as well. So I decided to book in a consultation.
While I was very anxious, Dr Shah put me at ease. After going through a list of questions and my main concerns, she explained everything that was going to happen and what should I be expecting.
Before the actual procedure a numbing cream was applied on my nose and left there for about 15 minutes. After this time, it felt like I don't have a nose anymore. :) Weird isn't it? Anyway, Dr Shah started the procedure and walked me through all the steps that she is taking. After each application, she was stopping to ensure that I am not in pain or uncomfortable. My nose felt a little odd while having injected, but not painful. The procedure lasted about 20 minutes. Pretty fast. I was advised to sleep on my back the same night, not to touch my nose and to avoid make up or creams for the rest of the day.
Next day my nose was a bit swollen and sore to the touch but nothing too bad. After two weeks had to go back for a touch up. And now I am very pleased with the result. read more
