The ice cream is home made and so are the waffles/cones. Nothing has changed in recipes over the many years the shop has been running so don't come expecting "flavor of the month" or very fat cream based ice cream. It's lighter which is nice on a hot day. Whipped cream and jam topping is complimentary. They keep an old tradition alive and the family running the business are wonderful!

My "two scoop" serving was large - and they have an option that involves, no joke, 12 scoops. The Danish equivalent of the Colonial Kitchen Sink, I suppose. The girl working the stand that day was quite friendly - they don't have English menus, but she was patient when explaining things to a group of non-Danish speakers, and apologetic when they didn't take credit cards (so have some kroner with you before you set out).
