This is not a high stress, do or die type of dance studio. Their focus is on making each dancer the best she can be and making dancing a fun and artistitic activity. So many dancers attend Dance Dimensions from toddlerhood through high school because it is such a warm and friendly place to grow as a dancer. There is even a wonderful summer camp offered that all my children have participated in and really enjoyed.

This is a typical storefront type of music studio that takes your credit card number and bills it…read moremonthly. There is no flexibility for sickness or other reasons that a lesson should be cancelled. Several times the instructor couldn't make the lesson date because of a gig he had and the option was to make the student reschedule at a different day and time with a different instructor that the student was not familiar with. In my son's case this burden was shifted to us (his parents) to try to make it work. This isn't quality instruction, it is a money grab. The piano instructor spent month after month teaching my son "counting out beats" without even assigning anything but one piece from the lesson book. No theory book either, just verbal instructions. No velocity exercises were offered (another book he should have had) which are fairly standard to develop good keyboard skills. The guitar teacher he had didn't even have a lesson book! He made him buy a chord encyclopedia which was the size of the NYC phone book! This was never even used in the lessons. He was giving him bits and pieces of different songs without ever finishing any of them. Neither instructor had a lesson plan written up on what to work on for the week. When I complained about the scheduling issues because of the teacher's gigs I was told my son could quit and what they do with shuffling schedules and instructors is the "industry standard". Lesson cancellations are not an option. After hearing that we did quit! Not what I call caring staff. My son walked out after a few months with nothing to show for it. Stay far away from this place, do yourself a favor and get a quality private instructor if you really want to learn how to play an instrument. I started playing piano 53 years ago and my instruction was nothing like what this place offers. Sad!

I'm really disappointed with how my daughter's party went at Pioneer Athletics. We had an amazing…read moreexperience in 2020 at her first birthday party here, so I was excited to come back. Also my daughters had attended classes for 4 years there.But this time, it was a whole different vibe. Chris was super helpful when we were setting up , but once the party started, Taylor took over and it was a complete flip . She was talking to the kids in a tone that was scolding. It felt like they were in trouble or something. It wasn't just the kids, she was short and rude with the grown ups too. I get it, safety first, but it's a birthday party, not boot camp! When we were trying to celebrate and have some fun, Taylor was stressing about everything and we were being treated like children. Even me, the person who paid for party was not allowed to touch pizza and cake without her basically blocking my access as if it was her very own personal pizza and cake. The worst part was when my daughter was sitting on her cousin's lap for the Happy Birthday song and Taylor scolded and embarrassed telling her to get off and sit down. My daughter looks so sad in all of her photos and videos in some pictures she's even visibly crying. What really bothered me was that we were paying customers, just like the VIP party that was coming next. We had paid for our time slot, and we were still within it. But despite that, the staff kept mentioning the upcoming VIP party, making us feel like we were being pushed out the door. Our business wasn't valued! I hope Pioneer Athletics takes this feedback seriously and works on making their parties more fun and less stressful. I want my daughter to have amazing memories of her birthday, not memories of a host yelling at her. This experience was a letdown, and it's unfortunate because there were 14 other kids at her party with their parents and they could have considered having their parties there or enrolling their children. However, they shared the same concerns as I did. Here are my suggestions: I think Pioneer Athletics should consider revising their party format to allow for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. With the current timeframe for obstacles , everything felt rushed the kids didn't get much time in the ninja portion and that was the whole point. The kids were just getting into the activities when it was time to wrap up, and it's clear the host were stressed about getting everything done on timez. If they could offer longer party slots or more flexible scheduling, I think it would make a huge difference. That way, everyone could enjoy the celebration without feeling like they're being herded through activities and out the door. It's definitely something to think about if they want to create a more positive and memorable experience for their party guests.

The party room has four tables so plenty of room to sit. The women working there helped from set-up to clean up. The parents have a good view of the kids playing while the girls who work there lead the kids around to activities and have a blast with them! It allows the parents to relax a bit while the kids have fun. Then the party moves to the party room for food/cake/presents. We opted to choose the party package without food or drinks included and brought our own instead but they have great party packages with food included as well! All the kids had fun, all the parents were impressed and I got asked quite a bit by the other parents about how they could throw a party here as well!!! Highly recommended :)

I have worked with Heather for 6 months now and could not be happier. Her positive attitude is better than any preworkout on the market. I have limitations in my workouts due to ankle issues and she had always been extremely cautious/conscious of preventing injuries. If you are looking to get kick started into a new fitness routine, call Heather!

Circuit machines: Again, pretty standard, in good shape (not sure why some say they are falling apart, I use them regularly and they work great). Free-weight room: Have to agree, stuck in a "smaller" downstairs room. With more than 5 people it gets a little crowded. Would like to see improvement here. Classes: I LOVE the classes (Group Power, Core, and Interval). But the times are tough. Often during the work day. This is great for many, but they NEED more classes after work (530 and later). I'm sorry, I can't do the 515AM classes. But the classes themselves are great! HealthTrax is expensive. But I've found the trainers to be attentive. The support staff is friendly. Overall it's one of the better options in my immediate area (don't get me started on Planet Fitness in Enfield).
