You have the privacy of parking in their complimentary underground parking lot and take a nice ride up to their suite on the 2nd floor. The office is beautiful, very bright with lots of natural lighting. There are products displayed in cases wrapping the reception area with lots of smiles to greet you all around. My consult was with Emily. She was very knowledgeable of different skin types and the different needs of your specific skin tone. I had done a lot of reach on my own prior to scheduling the consult and knew which questions to ask and signs to look for for a good skin doctor. Emily superseded every expectations and went above and beyond to address my skincare concerns. What surprised me was that I had the intention of going in to get some fillers under the eye. After some discussion and assessment, Emily told me flat out that I was not a good candidate for fillers, because "you don't need it". This really amazed me because I've never heard of any business rejecting a willing customer who's basically screaming, "take all my money!". Providing further education, Emily told me that I should address my concerns first by taking preventative measurements in forms of a good skincare routine and maybe opt for fillers down the road. This goes to show that Roberson's really want you to care for your skin in the form of self care instead of finding answers with unnecessary, elective cosmetic augmentations. I fully trust Emily and Robertson's to have the best intentions for me and my skin, and would recommend them to anyone who's thinking about exploring or questioning if they need to address any skincare concerns.

The procedure was performed using conscious sedation rather than general anesthesia, which I felt was a safer approach. At three weeks post-op, I had more facial sensation than I did years after my first facelift. Dr. Parfitt performed my facelift, neck lift, and forehead lowering with scalp advancement. Scar revision from my prior facelift and correction of my earlobes were included as part of the facelift. The scars healed extremely well with his soft-tissue technique, including removal of visible scarring along the back hairline. His approach reflects a strong focus on safety, risk reduction, and long-term function--not just appearance. The clinic is beautiful, well organized, and efficiently run. Dr. Parfitt has a calm, steady manner and excellent aesthetic judgment. He was clear and realistic about what results to expect, and his recommendations were conservative and natural. I look refreshed, not "done." Recovery was smooth. He provided clear post-op instructions and supplement recommendations to help reduce swelling, which I believe helped. After surgery, he gave me his personal cell number and responded promptly to texts, even on weekends. For the level of care, craftsmanship, and results, his pricing is very fair. Highly recommend. I was interested in having some skin tightening done under my eyes and had a consult scheduled yesterday. I took off work and arrived for my 2:30 appointment. At 3:10 I had not been seen yet. Twice I was told he was "just finishing up and would be in shortly." I had somewhere to be at 3:30 so I informed the office manager I was leaving. Her words were "he's just finishing up with discharging someone," zero apology. She sat there and said nothing when I said I was leaving and I was not pleased I had taken off work. I still have not heard from them to follow up and am assuming I won't. To act like my time isn't valuable is inexcusable. I can do the makeup basics but I'll never be one of those people with a flawless face who always looks put together. Despite this, everyone in Sephora is always friendly and willing to answer questions. The store is always well staffed and if you need help finding the right color or product there's always someone around to help. I recently went in looking for a new face wash because the one I've been using and loving isn't cruelty free. They sent me home with 6 samples to try so I could find the right replacement. The Sephora Play box is a great way to try new products and get a little more adventurous if you're like me and always stick to one or two items/looks. I also love their return policy: you can return anything at any time for any reason. I'd love to see Sephora make their own products cruelty free and carry more cruelty free brands in store. As such a large name in the beauty business they have the platform to make a real difference.

I met with Jodie for my consult and she gave me some very honest advice - she informed me that fillers would not be a good solution to one of my problems. She advised me of several other options (one of which was not offered at Aesthetica). I felt very safe in her care because she wasn't just giving me what I asked for, she was helping me make an informed choice, even though it meant less business for Aesthetica. So I did get fillers in one area and I am REALLY happy with them. Jodie is really good at what she's does and my face still looks like my face - just refreshed. Some FYIs - I think the consult was $50. When I paid for my service they deducted the $50. My fillers ended up costing ~$600 in total. There's also a rewards program that you can sign up for to get discounts on future services. I will definitely be back.
