I had some challenges finding good graphic designers in Manila and then I found Josef. He is a true…read moreprofessional. First and foremost, he is excellent in bringing concept to design. I gave him an elaborate description of what i was trying to accomplish and he created excellent designs. He is an excellent listener. Sometimes there was some back and forth and I might give feedback that ie "the promo sheet looked a little cluttered" and he listened closely to my critiques and modified accordingly. As a business person that seeks effiency because I don't have enough hours in a day, I really appreciated that I never had to repeat myself. He has quick response times. Anytime I had a question or requested change he was on top of in an impressively short amount of time. Lastly, his prices are very reasonable. All in all I highly recommend Josef.

I didn't really think it through but the first thing I did was to call my best friend Jo to help me make a logo (it seemed like the most logical thing to do!). After a few key words and ideas being screamed at the phone, he miraculously managed to come up with something I dreamt about! It was perfect! Jo is a graphic designer who does freelance work as a sideline. He's got an excellent track record with numerous logos created and even artwork to show off! He can do almost everything that has something to do graphic design including video edits, take photos, edit photos, layouts, illustrations, EVERYTHING. He's also really fun to work with and has pretty quick turnaround too! It's also good to note that his rates are quite reasonable and he's great to talk to, so don't be intimidated! He'll help you with what you need!

I don't think anyone who has ever studied in Benilde's SDA (School of Design & Arts) building has…read moregraduated without having anything printed at Dexact. They've been a fixture in this area ever since I entered college, way back when they were still located at Torre Lorenzo at Taft Ave. Currently they're located above Mini Stop beside SDA Building, which is a far better location than their previous one that was in the basement. So... I've printed EVERYTHING here back when I was in college. Well, mostly everything. I only head to other printers when their store gets packed during finals. They're fast, reliable, and the quality of their printing has never failed me, especially the colour quality. Post-college, they're still my first choice for printing services for my client work. That is, if I actually have time to head all the way to Manila. Aside from the usual prints, I really love their mounted prints. i actually don't know of any printers who provide these. If you're in need of quick wall decor, take your artwork/snap up a photo, and have it embossed mounted on sintra board (it's really inexpensive), and hang it on your wall in an hour or two.

When friends ask me where they can get professional quality prints of their calling cards,…read morebrochures, flyers, posters, and other marketing collaterals and graphic design projects, I only recommend Dexact. True, printing presses are a dime a dozen these days and they can certainly print these products without any hitch, but the problem with those is that they usually require that you print a minimum 1,000 copies (or else, they charge a monumental fee for a few copies only). Dexact will print a single copy of a magazine (as they did so for my sister for her school project), 50 copies of business cards, five copies of a poster...you get the drift. Quality wise, they win over the regular print shops, hands down. Their digital prints are highly color accurate, and they can do added effects that only the printing presses usually deliver like precision die-cutting, mounting, binding, etc. You can also choose from various specialty papers, so no need to be confined to just bond paper. Don't make the mistake of going there during Finals Week of Benilde's School of Design and Arts students, though. The place will be PACKED! Space is limited in the stop, and the printing queue can get frustrating, especially if you need a rush job. Best to call ahead to see how busy they are. Drop off your project. Then come back after an hour or two or at the end of the day.
