From the Business

Specialties

History

Established in 1978.

Well, this is a former butcher's, but now this space is used to showcase work by upcoming artists. The district, Noord, is known for its galleries and artsy shops on the Zwaanshals, but if you venture a little further you come across this venue situated near the old cemetery of Crooswijk. In this instance the main space is used by ikRotterdam; the theme of their illustrations is fitting: all types of meat products adorn the walls. Another eye catcher is the large black and white panorama of the city, which is being coloured in by children and adults alike. The next space contains the bar as well as work by Malou Cohen, who uses found objects to make brooches and, for instance, miniature landscapes and people. If you want to see the current exposition, which runs till the end of March, admission is free.
