When we went, there was only one person working-- she was very sweet and worked as quickly as she could and we were grateful that she was doing the best she could! There's also a walk up option to order at the window. The flavors are fairly standard, although the menu is extensive. There are four different sizes, and the "kiddie" size at 8 ounces is perfect. You can also add toppings for an additional 50cents.

I've never been inside of this establishment and I have no idea what it looks like, but I've come to know there drive-through well. When you arrive at the drive-through, just slow down. They want you to scan the QR code posted along the drive-through walls and review the menu before you pull up to the window. This keeps the line moving and flowing so everyone knows what they want and have it figured out by the time you're able to place an order. Take the hint. I love that the menu has pictures and descriptions. Their menu has an impressive variety of shaved ice flavors, specialty creations, and add-ons, so there's something for everyone no matter what you're craving. The customer service is always excellent. The staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. If you're looking for a refreshing treat with great service and plenty of options to choose from, Texas Shaved Ice Express is my recommendation. Don't forget to get a stamp sheet for points and free treats.

She was clearly doing the best she could. The drive-thru line was long, the inside wait was long, and despite all of it, she remained professional and patient with everyone. Other customers were asking why the owner didn't come help, send additional staff, or simply close if they knew only one employee would be working. She mentioned that she had informed her boss, but nothing was done. This review is not a reflection of the employee -- she handled a stressful situation very well. It's a reflection of poor management and staffing decisions. Unfortunately, I won't be visiting this location again.
