We wanted to try the Artesian Cellars for wine tasting and arrived at 12:30 on Saturday. There were several tables occupied. They have seating inside and on two covered patios in front and back. The front patio is adjacent to the highway. It has some greenery blocking the view but you still hear the traffic. The rear patio has heaters, a fire pit and some comfortable seating. Indoors there are two rooms, one for large parties which we decided not to sit in due to a large noisy group. We spent two hours enjoying wine tasting and a large charcuterie board. During three quarters of the time our server was the only person taking orders and serving the customers. She was really putting on the miles between all the rooms. While she was doing her best it was too much for one person to provide great customer service. A second person showed up near the end of our visit. Artesian Cellars has a selection of wines from, Nevada, Washington and California. The tasting fee is reasonable and waived with a purchase of a bottle of wine. We enjoyed the charcuterie board which had 3 meats, olives, nuts, several cheeses, slices of bread and some delicious fig jam. I hope they can improve the service to a level which the server can spend time with the customer as opposed to just poring and running to another customer.
I was quite excited to try Artesian Cellars and by the looks of the crowd when I walked in, I wasn't the only one. Not only was there a large event going on in the back room, the main bar area was completely packed. We actually had to wait a few minutes for a table which was honestly a bit surprising to me. Along with being packed, it was also unfortunately understaffed, by admission of the lead bartender, which lead to long waits for service. We had originally wanted to do a wine flight but due to how busy they were, they had suspended that for the day. We ended up getting to a wine slusher each, which came with its own edible sugar straw. While very creative and fun and customizable, they were WAY too sweet. I should have just ordered a glass of wine, but, again, based on what the lead bartender told me about my wine preferences, I wouldn't enjoy any of their wine. About halfway through our visit, live music started, which was very nice but also very loud, given how crowded the space was. I would like to go back and try their wine, maybe during some of their off hours
This winery has such a relaxed, artistic vibe -- live music, healthy food, and a creative atmosphere that matches its name. The host was friendly, and I had a wonderful evening here. There are still more areas of the winery I want to explore, and next time I really should try the wine.
We stopped in for a glass of wine. On our way to the Ron fellows driving school because we had some time. We didn't eat any food. We just ordered an entire bottle of white wine and shared it in what was a very nice atmosphere. They were a little shortstaffed the day we were there Because it was a holiday, but the gentleman that waited on us was hustling, courteous, and apologetic. We had a very nice time and the wine was quite good. Wish we had had more time to stay and would definitely visit again in forever in the area of Pahrump, Nevada.
Nice wine tasting and menu!. Dozen wine sample was amazing. Food was ok. I will be back for the wine!!
Stopped in with reservations on a Thursday afternoon. We had a party of 9 and the resto had about 3 barrel tables ready for us. Loved that the barrels had hooks to hang bags since these tables are not that big. We had a variety of apps - prosciutto wrapped dates with goat cheese, which was a sweet and savory snack, the aioli chips, and the charcuterie board that had the milkiest cheeses, tastiest meats, nuts, grapes and jam. Such a solid spread. I ordered the chicken pesto flatbread. I wish the bread was a little crispier and the pesto more dominant. I also got to try the bbq chicken panini which was on a nicely buttered and toasted bread. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Overall, a good experience. I'll try the wine tasting or wine slush next time!
This winery is located in Parumph and it is very affordable! You can select the type of wine according to your liking. Savory, sweet, full bodied and much more. We enjoyed our day. The staff were helpful and friendly! I ordered the Summer Peach flatbread. It was ok. But my tasting was Great! The ambiance was Malians perfect for a Sunday afternoon I will certain revisit this place again!
This is a must-go place, when you visit Pahrump! There's no other way to place it, but this experience was second to none. In my party, we had someone who not a wine drinker; however, Dana ensured we were educated and happy. We went through countless tastings, and even left with TWO bottles. Even thinking back, joining the wine club is extremely worthwhile (especially from the Vegas prices for good wine)! The food we had was the Salmon melt from Pam's Specials and the Roast Beef and Gorgonzola cheese (with cauliflower crust, mustard add) was excellent. I came for great drinks, but we stay for the ambiance and total experience! ***Sorry for lack of pictures, the food was too good. I'll get some the next visit. I promise. Thank you to Dana and Artesian Cellars team for the hospitality!
We have a group of women who come often for lunch. We love Dana, she is the best server!! Today was a disappointment as the food wasn't up to par. Ordered the new Tri-Tip sandwich and it was not very good, 3 little thin slices of meat on a thick bun, nothing else on it. No dressing or lettuce. Another person had the Tomato Bisque soup and it was so salty she couldn't eat it. And the Cheese Curds, what a joke!! They had a breading on them!!! Someone else mentioned that their sandwich was skimpy on the filling. Ok, new cook who needs training? Something has changed!!
This adorable little winery was so much fun! We spent literally hours here tasting wines and snacking on all the yummy foods. Our bartender who was serving us was fantastic. She took us through all of the wines on the tasting and helped us all find something we liked. My husband tasted the reds, I the whites and our friends the sweets and let me tell you there was nothing there I didn't like. I especially loved some of the Battle Born wines where the grapes are grown in Nevada. I am a big fan of keeping it local, which in this case I would def say that within the state counts as local! The cheese curds and cannoli are must try food items, like do not skip them amazingly good. And the fig and goat cheese pizza was also noteworthy. Additionally we had the added experience of seeing a road runner just outside hanging out by their sign, up close and personal. This was a fantastic winery, way to Represent the Battle Born state!
Decided to take a day trip out to Pahrump. First stop on our wine tasting tour. Who knew we had such a lovely city of wine only 50mins outside of Las Vegas. We got here and found a perfect table outside in the back patio. The live music begins at 1pm Sundays. Weather was perfect at 60f. We both opted for the wine tasting, one red and one white. $7 for 5 options. Grapes are from Fallon, NV and Lodi, CA. Battle Born Wine selection is from Fallon. Great taste and knowledge. The White Wine Blend and the Petite Sirah were my favorites. Food menu is ample and delicious. The Charcuterie board was beautiful with cheeses, meats, bread, fig jam, olives, fruit and almonds. read more

My husband told me that this place opened two days before the pandemic shut every business down! Luckily they survived the pandemic and are now open. I ordered the 5 tastings for $7.00 and we sat at the bar where we quickly became involved with conversations with everyone there. If you are looking for friendly people in America, you need to visit Pahrump. Our bartenders were Jennifer and Wendy. After pouring me samples of the sweetest wine they had, I settled for a few glasses of the Minx Muscat. We spent about three hours here, just relaxing and enjoying our new friends. Jennifer gave me a tour of the back room and where the wine is fermented. This place has a wine club membership that will give you special discounts on events and your purchases throughout the year. It was $297.00 for 3 shipments per year, plus you earn 5% discount at the Winery / 10% Case Discount, Invitations to Private Events, Club Only Offers & Communications. They often do fundraising events for local things in the community too, and I love businesses that give back. You should check this place out if you are out in Pahrump. I didn't order any food here because we were full from breakfast. read more

Just opened in September. Very cute place. Covered patio, bar & lots of places to sit back & relax. They have a full kitchen & tastings are $5 for 5 red or white flights. However, if you buy a bottle the tasting is free. Average bottle price is around $26. My favorite was the Barbera Fabulous! read more

Love this winery! It was a pleasure to talk with Tim Burke, the winemaker, and learn about the wines and winemaking process. Excellent wines and amazing food! The charcuterie board was fantastic with cheeses that complimented the wine. Great service! read more

My husband and I stopped into Artesian Cellars our way to Las Vegas on September 17, 2024. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed our tasting. We decided to purchase 2 bottles of their port wine, which by the way was delicious, and then we continued on to our hotel in Las Vegas. After we got home to Reno the following Sunday, we unpacked our purchases only to find 2 mystery bottles of wine that were obviously not what we had purchased. We sent an email that very morning along with pictures of the bottles and our receipt hoping to figure out what went wrong. We never heard anything from Artesian. Fast forward a couple of days and we call Artesian Cellars to talk about what happened. I spoke with Kim, who said she was sorry for the mix up, but feel free to stop by and we will exchange out the bottles. When I told her we were from Reno, she said oh let me get the manager. I overheard the manager say, "I am on the phone, take a message and I will call them back." We never got a call back. This past Monday September 30, 2024, we call again and this time I spoke with Dana. I explained everything again and she seemed very concerned and said she would do what she could to get this resolved. She asked who our server was that day, and I informed her that Haley waited on us. I also told her that I had spoken to Kim and that we never received a return call from the manager. Dana informed me she would talk to Maria and see what happened. I even gave her my email address, so that she could do a search in their inbox and find our message. I am still waiting to hear back, and it has been over 24 hours. Below are photos of the bottles we received, and we have no idea what is in them. Update 10/2/2024 - I called and spoke with Dana again. She seemed pleased to hear from me and asked how everything was going. I told her that I hadn't heard from anyone, and I was wondering what was going on with our wine issue. She told me that the manager, Maria had told her that she has been emailing me and that the owner Tim said he called me and that everything had been handled. I told her that I haven't received any emails, and I have been checking both my inbox and my spam box daily. I also informed her that Tim has not reached out to me and at this point I am requesting a full refund. Hopefully the refund gets processed in a timely manner. I gave this winery so many opportunities to fix this and they decided to do nothing. So sad. read more

Very enjoyable establishment. The menu of food and wine are a perfect paring. The staff are friendly, and enjoyable to interact with. There is a room for larger parties, with outdoor seating optional. The wines offered are expertly crafted, with a good variety to delight every palate. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke pizza. It was delightful and enjoyed by all in the party. Welcome to Pahrump, we are so happy you are here. read more

I have no idea how this restaurant has all around 5 stars. I don't live in Pahrump but was visiting a friend who does. We decided to visit this restaurant that had raving reviews. Upon arrival, we opened the front door of this restaurant that was formerly a home. There was no one to greet us so we walked around to the 'backyard' through the sliding door to find staff who politely told us to sit anywhere. The tables in the backyard were all glass top tables and chairs that all looked as if they were purchased at the local Wal-Mart. There were cars pulling up to the dirt area close to the tables in the backyard while people were eating and I saw a few dogs off leash running around in the dirt. Wonderful ambiance. The waitress was very personable and kind. The staff were very nice, that was the best part about our experience there. That and the wine slushee. My friend and I shared our meals. We ordered the charcuterie platter, hummus platter, the aged cheddar pancetta apple & arugula flat bread as well as the roast beef and Gorgonzola flat bread. For drinks, my friend ordered the strawberry wine slushee and I ordered the wine tasting. 5 for $7. I should have ordered the slushee. The flatbread pizzas are the size of personal pan pizzas. Not at all what I was expecting. They didn't taste good either. Something about the hot cheese just didn't sit right with my stomach. That and the tiny bits of overcooked, yet undercooked, roast beef was extremely unsatisfying. We left 3/4 of the roast beef & Gorgonzola 'flatbread' on the table. The charcuterie board looked and tasted as if they bought it pre-sliced & pre-packaged at the local grocery store. Even the bread did. I mean, it was good. That's where I buy my meats/cheeses when I need to make a charcuterie board. I just didn't expect that from a 'reputable' restaurant. The hummus was fabulous. Again, probably store bought and dumped out of its container. It might be on sale at Sams so I'll add that to my shopping list. The pita chips that the hummus was served with, tasted exactly like the bagged pita chips that I buy from smiths called 'Stacy's Pita Chips'. Not even pita cut into bite sized and fried. Just poured onto a plate from a bag purchased from a store. The wine slushee was absolutely delicious. They serve it with an optional shot of vanilla vodka. It was so good. I shouldn't have been so bougie and just ordered it because my 'wine tasting' was horrible. I do not care to remember the wines I did try because they were all bad. The first two, I had to literally chug because the waitress would not add more wine to my glass unless it was empty. Yes, my same wine glass was used for every sampling. One wine tasted like metal...that was because it was made in an aluminum barrel instead of a typical wood barrel. You know how water tastes after leaving it in a metal container for a few days? Mix that with a bit of alcohol and that's what one wine sampling tasted like. And the last sip of wine tasted like straight gasoline. That's even how the waitress explained it to us. She said it was her least favorite, she didn't like it, it tasted like gasoline then she served it to me. We were not offered water even though a few other patrons were handed bottled water. There was a lovely singer with a beautiful voice serenading us. He even sang happy birthday to a lady who just turned 80! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and it seemed like everyone knew each other. Like they're close knit, a family. Maybe that's why everyone gave 5 stars...they felt obligated or were asked. Either way, after we received our $80 bill, we tipped, paid and thanked the wonderful waitress. Slid that sliding door open and walked back through the front door vowing to never come back again. Those slushee though..... 2 stars because the waitress was nice and the slushee was amazing. read more

Our first visit to Artesian Cellars was great. Wine tasting is 5 pours for $8 which is waved if you purchase a bottle of wine. They have small bites, soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Took a day trip from Vegas to check this place out. We have been to a lot of wineries around the country and the grapes in the southeast never disappoint. The place was clean and cozy. Lots of options for seating either inside or outside in the sun or shade. We sat in the back and had a nice view of the mountains. Probably the cheapest tasting we have done. 5 reds and 5 whites for $10. Enjoyed the reds more than the whites. Staff was friendly and it was quiet for how close it is to the road. The only downside was the tasting did take a while (1.5 hours) but I'm sure if we mentioned we needed to be in and out in an hour they would have accompanied those plans. Pretty drive through the valley to get there. Worth the trip if you have an open afternoon. read more
