Food and service!! Very pleasant atmosphere, relaxing and relaxing excellent menu choices!

My husband and I took our two kids and dog for lunch and sat outside. We called ahead to ask if kids and dogs are welcome. The food was descent and the wine was good, but the service was terrible, and we won't be coming back. They were not busy at all, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were dealing with some internal issues that caused them to never visit our table. The woman who appeared to be the manager was very short with us, even when giving us our check, and we were very polite the entire time. When we left and said bye she couldn't even be bothered to look up from her iPad. Disrespectful and rude, we won't be coming back. read more

My husband and I stopped into Artesian Cellars our way to Las Vegas on September 17, 2024. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed our tasting. We decided to purchase 2 bottles of their port wine, which by the way was delicious, and then we continued on to our hotel in Las Vegas. After we got home to Reno the following Sunday, we unpacked our purchases only to find 2 mystery bottles of wine that were obviously not what we had purchased. We sent an email that very morning along with pictures of the bottles and our receipt hoping to figure out what went wrong. We never heard anything from Artesian. Fast forward a couple of days and we call Artesian Cellars to talk about what happened. I spoke with Kim, who said she was sorry for the mix up, but feel free to stop by and we will exchange out the bottles. When I told her we were from Reno, she said oh let me get the manager. I overheard the manager say, "I am on the phone, take a message and I will call them back." We never got a call back. This past Monday September 30, 2024, we call again and this time I spoke with Dana. I explained everything again and she seemed very concerned and said she would do what she could to get this resolved. She asked who our server was that day, and I informed her that Haley waited on us. I also told her that I had spoken to Kim and that we never received a return call from the manager. Dana informed me she would talk to Maria and see what happened. I even gave her my email address, so that she could do a search in their inbox and find our message. I am still waiting to hear back, and it has been over 24 hours. Below are photos of the bottles we received, and we have no idea what is in them. Update 10/2/2024 - I called and spoke with Dana again. She seemed pleased to hear from me and asked how everything was going. I told her that I hadn't heard from anyone, and I was wondering what was going on with our wine issue. She told me that the manager, Maria had told her that she has been emailing me and that the owner Tim said he called me and that everything had been handled. I told her that I haven't received any emails, and I have been checking both my inbox and my spam box daily. I also informed her that Tim has not reached out to me and at this point I am requesting a full refund. Hopefully the refund gets processed in a timely manner. I gave this winery so many opportunities to fix this and they decided to do nothing. So sad. read more

Decided to take a day trip out to Pahrump. First stop on our wine tasting tour. Who knew we had such a lovely city of wine only 50mins outside of Las Vegas. We got here and found a perfect table outside in the back patio. The live music begins at 1pm Sundays. Weather was perfect at 60f. We both opted for the wine tasting, one red and one white. $7 for 5 options. Grapes are from Fallon, NV and Lodi, CA. Battle Born Wine selection is from Fallon. Great taste and knowledge. The White Wine Blend and the Petite Sirah were my favorites. Food menu is ample and delicious. The Charcuterie board was beautiful with cheeses, meats, bread, fig jam, olives, fruit and almonds. read more

My husband told me that this place opened two days before the pandemic shut every business down! Luckily they survived the pandemic and are now open. I ordered the 5 tastings for $7.00 and we sat at the bar where we quickly became involved with conversations with everyone there. If you are looking for friendly people in America, you need to visit Pahrump. Our bartenders were Jennifer and Wendy. After pouring me samples of the sweetest wine they had, I settled for a few glasses of the Minx Muscat. We spent about three hours here, just relaxing and enjoying our new friends. Jennifer gave me a tour of the back room and where the wine is fermented. This place has a wine club membership that will give you special discounts on events and your purchases throughout the year. It was $297.00 for 3 shipments per year, plus you earn 5% discount at the Winery / 10% Case Discount, Invitations to Private Events, Club Only Offers & Communications. They often do fundraising events for local things in the community too, and I love businesses that give back. You should check this place out if you are out in Pahrump. Just opened in September. Very cute place. Covered patio, bar & lots of places to sit back & relax. They have a full kitchen & tastings are $5 for 5 red or white flights. Went here today with my Amazing Lady for a short get away and a bite before work! They just got some new hand crafted wines in, definitely going to come back on my day off when i can partake, and had a lite lunch! We did not get our brunch or French toast until after 4 o'clock horrible communication no compensation to try to make our experience better. We had eight guest. I have no idea how this restaurant has all around 5 stars. I don't live in Pahrump but was visiting a friend who does. We decided to visit this restaurant that had raving reviews. Upon arrival, we opened the front door of this restaurant that was formerly a home. There was no one to greet us so we walked around to the 'backyard' through the sliding door to find staff who politely told us to sit anywhere. The tables in the backyard were all glass top tables and chairs that all looked as if they were purchased at the local Wal-Mart. There were cars pulling up to the dirt area close to the tables in the backyard while people were eating and I saw a few dogs off leash running around in the dirt. Wonderful ambiance. The waitress was very personable and kind. The staff were very nice, that was the best part about our experience there. That and the wine slushee. My friend and I shared our meals. We ordered the charcuterie platter, hummus platter, the aged cheddar pancetta apple & arugula flat bread as well as the roast beef and Gorgonzola flat bread. For drinks, my friend ordered the strawberry wine slushee and I ordered the wine tasting. 5 for $7. I should have ordered the slushee. The flatbread pizzas are the size of personal pan pizzas. Not at all what I was expecting. They didn't taste good either. Something about the hot cheese just didn't sit right with my stomach. That and the tiny bits of overcooked, yet undercooked, roast beef was extremely unsatisfying. We left 3/4 of the roast beef & Gorgonzola 'flatbread' on the table. The charcuterie board looked and tasted as if they bought it pre-sliced & pre-packaged at the local grocery store. Even the bread did. I mean, it was good. That's where I buy my meats/cheeses when I need to make a charcuterie board. I just didn't expect that from a 'reputable' restaurant. The hummus was fabulous. Again, probably store bought and dumped out of its container. It might be on sale at Sams so I'll add that to my shopping list. The pita chips that the hummus was served with, tasted exactly like the bagged pita chips that I buy from smiths called 'Stacy's Pita Chips'. Not even pita cut into bite sized and fried. Just poured onto a plate from a bag purchased from a store. The wine slushee was absolutely delicious. They serve it with an optional shot of vanilla vodka. It was so good. I shouldn't have been so bougie and just ordered it because my 'wine tasting' was horrible. I do not care to remember the wines I did try because they were all bad. The first two, I had to literally chug because the waitress would not add more wine to my glass unless it was empty. Yes, my same wine glass was used for every sampling. One wine tasted like metal...that was because it was made in an aluminum barrel instead of a typical wood barrel. You know how water tastes after leaving it in a metal container for a few days? Mix that with a bit of alcohol and that's what one wine sampling tasted like. And the last sip of wine tasted like straight gasoline. That's even how the waitress explained it to us. She said it was her least favorite, she didn't like it, it tasted like gasoline then she served it to me. We were not offered water even though a few other patrons were handed bottled water. There was a lovely singer with a beautiful voice serenading us. He even sang happy birthday to a lady who just turned 80! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and it seemed like everyone knew each other. Like they're close knit, a family. Maybe that's why everyone gave 5 stars...they felt obligated or were asked. Either way, after we received our $80 bill, we tipped, paid and thanked the wonderful waitress. Slid that sliding door open and walked back through the front door vowing to never come back again. Those slushee though..... 2 stars because the waitress was nice and the slushee was amazing. read more

A fun place to see what's happening in Nevada's wine country. We live in Napa and I'd been to a Pahrump winery decades ago and found the wine lacking but wanted to see if things had changed. We did a flight of five reds, all of which were from Washington State, which was disappointing since we wanted to try Nevada wines. We only had to pour one of them out, so that's pretty good! Can't recall which. Similarly, we ordered a flight of five whites, all of which were from Nevada. So that was fun! Again, I only had to pout out one. We wound up buying the summer white - a somewhat sweet embodiment of summer, and a Mourvèdre. Despite the shipping containers out back, the view was expansive. The service was very good. We didn't reveal our Napa roots until asked at the very end because we didn't want to make our awesome waitress nervous. And we get pretty picky about our wine service. She said she was new, yet provided stellar service. She had a great work ethic and must have had great staff support. All-in-all, a fun experience. read more

Great wine slushies and food. Great customer service - they were closing in 15 minutes and even opened up the kitchen again to make a pizza. Super friendly employees who make you feel at home. We were going there anyhow for the wine slushy regardless but thanks so much for making us a good pizza. We went to Nicco's in town for pizza which was HORRIBLE because Farinata's was closed. I came to this place 5x away from Las Vegas and always get the Charcuterie which is a varieties of cheeses, grapes and the green cheese. That wasn't on my platter today but the table next to me had the same plate I I usually get. I asked I complained and I got excuses I felt discriminated cause I am Asian, The waiter told me that the chef was the owner. I figured the owner would be more understanding. I never had a cheese platter with pepperoncini instead of grapes kindly weird but oh well I won't be coming here again, very disappointed! read more

Stopped here on a weekend as part of the Pahrump booze tour. The wine is ok, though $8 for 5 sips of wine seems steep, especially for Pahrump. The food is ok, if not underwhelming- especially for the price. The thing that really pushed us over the edge was the bartender/server- she could not be bothered with us. She seemed annoyed and couldn't wait to leave our table, as if she had better things to do. Perhaps we were terrible, but from the looks of what was happening around us- it was pretty consistent treatment. Even though they don't have food, you're better off going to Sanders Family Winery (you can bring your own food in and their wine tasting is free). read more

Took a day trip from Vegas to check this place out. We have been to a lot of wineries around the country and the grapes in the southeast never disappoint. The place was clean and cozy. Lots of options for seating either inside or outside in the sun or shade. We sat in the back and had a nice view of the mountains. Probably the cheapest tasting we have done. 5 reds and 5 whites for $10. Enjoyed the reds more than the whites. Staff was friendly and it was quiet for how close it is to the road. The only downside was the tasting did take a while (1.5 hours) but I'm sure if we mentioned we needed to be in and out in an hour they would have accompanied those plans. Pretty drive through the valley to get there. Worth the trip if you have an open afternoon. read more
