Had lunch here after visiting the Batalha Monastery. The four stars is because we waited a few…read moreminutes to be seated and the place wasn't that busy, the wait staff saw us but were busy cleaning tables, though there were plenty of tables ready for guests, and once seated we were ignored for over five minutes and had to ask for menus.
Once we got through that, the food didn't take long to be served and everything ordered by our party of four was very good. Two ordered fresh fish from the fish display, one ordered the spaghetti with seafood, and I had a steak. The exception to everything being good was the rice, which was on the hard side. We ordered coffee and dessert and also enjoyed that. We ordered ice cream and pana cotta.
Overall a good experience and we recommend Burro Velho.
