The hybrid model allows her the chance to socialize and get instruction from great teachers twice a week, and work from home--at her own pace, with as much or as little help as she needs from me--twice a week. On Fridays, she has chosen a variety of enrichment classes, from Art to dance to acting, and it has really helped her discover what she enjoys. Her performing arts classes have given her opportunities to confidently be on stage, and I love that she can take these classes right here in the same place where she goes to school. There is so much communication from the school, both from administration and from the teachers; I have always felt very welcome to reach out, and my concerns are always addressed. Miss Alicia, the academy administrator, is always visible in the building and seems to know all the parents by name. The school is small and really has a community feel. I not only know all the kids in my daughter's class, but their parents and often their siblings as well. Dayspring offers a safe & supportive environment, with "Christian values" at its core while being welcoming to all faiths. (Our family does not identify as Christian, and it has never been a problem.) We are so glad that we finally found the right school for our daughter!

She has a deep love for dance and this has become her home. Class times aren't released until the Summer before the Fall session starts so I am not sure about the other review. Ray Patzius has a very kind heart and likes to kid around with people. Perhaps there was a mis understanding from the caller. If you want an excellent ballet, pointe etc training, Patzius is an excellent choice.

I said that I just wanted to know if I could fit it into my schedule. Ray said, "What?! You think your life is busier than mine?" I replied, "Well, I only have a few openings in my schedule, but I would really like to take this dance class." Ray, "So you think your life is busier than mine?!" Me, "Well, my life is busy, I'm in pain, and I'm going to need surgery just as soon as it can be scheduled. In the meantime, dancing helps me deal with my stress." Ray replied, "Well, I'm not going to tell you." I said, "Well I took classes here before and I sent my children to you dance school. I live very close to your studio so I just want to know if I can fit that class into my schedule." He continued to be belligerent. I commented that his customer service skills need to be improved. He screamed, "I have people beating down the door to take lessons here! And I'm the best guitar teacher in the world!!!" "Please just tell me when the class is held," I begged. Ray, "No!!!" My stomach was in knots during the conversation and more than 24 hours later, I'm still feeling ill. What should have been a stress-reliever, made me physically ill. All because I wanted to take dance lessons. I called a dance studio that is about 20 minutes away. The person on the phone couldn't have been nicer. So I'm going to take dance lessons at St Louis Academy of Dance. I can't wait!

I've had several friends find raw meat, hairs, and even one found an acrylic nail in their food. I personally have gotten food poisoning a few times and got sick from raw chicken once. The discipline system needs to be better. So many kids here that just do a lot of mischief and the teachers can't handle it all, I hope they get more support there. I had many issues with the discipline system here that I won't get into, but a lot of the time I didn't feel very loved here. Only a few adults really ever tried to help me become better or help with the situations at hand but it didn't solve the problems either for a very long time or ever. Some good things- the majority of teachers here are very sweet, love to teach, and have great teaching models. They really try to make sure every student is succeeding in their classes and put out good ideas and encourage learning, even though not all students respect that and abuse it. The trips are fantastic, especially the Israel and Class trips, Israel trip personally changed my outlook on life a lot and I loved it. If you're a Christian Scientist they actively put a lot of CS material into the curriculum and everyday life. If you're not a Christian Scientist, might not be so great. They also just built a huge new sports complex that's awesome. But overall, school is okay, doing better. Hopefully the new management can steer it in the right direction.

Is was truly an awful moment. Been to at least 100 high school games all over the state and never, not once, did any school play blasting music before and during the game. I could not even talk to my companion because of the extremely loud and obnoxious music. I know you will say, well, we asked the kids and they said they liked it No surprise, but how about asking them and they liked no music and the ability to at least talk to their fellow students? Awful experience to say the least and, again, attended about 100 games in my life and never ever seen or heard such distracting atmosphere at a game. Please no music in the future.

From start to finish, the campus was built in under 2 years. It now boasts a state-of-the-art track and field, a world-class theater, and sizable classrooms with wireless internet available throughout the complex.
