So far we have loved all of our girls teachers from Kinder on and we look forward to the teachers to come. This school is a K-8 school which is great as we love the school and staff and don't have to worry about leaving until high school. We also love that the school offers a ton of field trips throughout the year, multiple after school programs, sports, arts programs and multiple other extra curricular activities. This is a great school for kids who love the arts and for parents who are active participant's in their children's lives, as parents are required to do 45 hours of volunteering per year.

Another problem I have is that the administrators take a while to acknowledge any problems like a report, coming from personal experiences. There are a few staff members that are rude but most of them are overly nice. The teachers are kind and give help if you need any. Bullying is a problem that occurs. If you're fine with your kid being bullied and having horrible school lunch then you don't have to worry. Overall, this school could have been better.

They have a great routine for the children and my son comes home learning so much from them. They are a great balance of fun and discipline as I always see the children having fun during play time but are so well behaved when it comes to eating and drinking water. They have fun activities outside of school time for the kids as well. They also provide lunch at a low added cost. The best part is the flexibility as they are open 7AM to 6PM and provide a lot of flexibility for my husband and I to pick him up when work days can be long. They also allow vacation credit through the year which is pretty cool. Overall we are very pleased and happy with Portside and all their teachers.

If it didn't spill while making it, it was probably closed tightly. We were told they didn't know how it happened. Also, when we brought up our problems, the manager stated that she was off that day and would've kept a closer eye on her employees. When we told her who had primary care of my daughter, it seemed like this person had caused issues before. It was also stated "This child did not have a rash when the nanny picked up". For one, this was 8 months ago, I don't know who Rachel is, and how would she know that my daughter did not have a rash prior to pick up. Also, my nanny did not end up picking her up that day, it was my sister in law so this person who commented just does not know anything about the situation and decided to reply anyway. As a business owner, you should probably not blame the family for issues at the center nor comment on a situation you weren't there for.

He is personable, kind, intelligent and genuinely cares about each and every student and parent. David Lubin Elementary has a positive school culture. The PTG is a wonderful group of parents who truly put their all into raising money for the school to have a diverse range of learning experiences and programs at the school. David Lubin also has a top notch Deaf and Hard of Hearing program. The teachers, support staff, interpreters, and aides are very knowledgable, caring, and they absolutely love their job. The Deaf culture is celebrated and there are so many wonderful opportunities of inclusion built into the program. I am so grateful for the time my child spent at David Lubin. It has really been a second home for my child. He loved it so much there and we miss all the wonderful staff. We wish we didn't have to move to the Bay Area.

If you are looking for a school that has solid and proven academic track record coupled with…read morekindness and inclusion then St. Francis Elementary is the school for you and your family. I have three school aged children (8,8, and 11) attending St. Francis. They have attended this school since TK. I am wholly impressed with St. Francis Elementary's amazing ability to really reach students and bring out the best. I don't even worry with distance learning because St. Francis has proven to providing exceptional instruction in both formats. The school has a waiver in place but allows parents to keep distance learning options. The school community as a whole is very accommodating and nurturing. And now they are in process of obtaining International Baccalaureate (IB) certification. Some have noted that IB in some cases can be more challenging than AP classes. By St. Francis Elementary engaging in IB they are providing my children a solid foundation for continued success into high school and college learning without sacrificing the humanitarian side of education.

My girls have grown into confident individuals who are creative and curious for all things learning and socializing. They have made friends (maybe for life) and we feel a significant part of the significant family at Centennial. Sadly, our oldest has grown out of the school having attended 2 day all the way to the TK program on offer. My youngest is now attending 5 days and is thriving in the environment. Parent participation adds significant value to the experience too. Letting my girls go into a new environment is scary, but I would tell you that Centennial will make you feel good about where you kids are spending their time learning and growing.

Every teacher is loving, caring, nurturing, kind, and truly understands children. I never fully understood what a "play-based" education meant until we experienced it at Centennial. It is the perfect place for young learners. The weekly letter curriculum is thoughtfully incorporated into art projects, activities, and play-based learning experiences. The Pre-K program is excellent. You simply will not find this level of hands-on, play-based learning in a typical public school TK program. The experiences the children receive are truly priceless. Both kiddos still asks if she can go back to Centennial! This is exactly why we chose Centennial for our children. Elementary school is filled with hard work and structure, and Centennial provides the perfect balance of learning, creativity, and fun. Lastly, Miss Brie is a phenomenal Director. She was always available to answer questions, put our minds at ease, and ensure the children were safe and well cared for.
