ART Reproductive stepped in immediately and made an embryologist available just days later for my rapidly scheduled TESE procedure. What could have been an incredibly stressful experience felt organized, supportive, and handled with genuine care. EMBRYOLOGIST SUCCESS The ART embryologist was able to successfully obtain and preserve three vials, which gave me tremendous peace of mind during an otherwise overwhelming time. SURGERY & CRYO COORDINATION For clarity, I did not undergo the TESE procedure through ART. I worked with Dr. Werthman at the Center for Male Reproductive Medicine, who was outstanding and made himself available within just three days for my urgent situation. shady care, rude staff, do not go here, waiting for a refund for the time i wont be using the freezing services because the doctor took the eggs out too soon and so i was left with one egg so i decided not to use the freezing services anymore and they dont send me the refund. My experience has been overwhelmingly negative, and I strongly advise others to avoid this facility. I have already recommended to our UCLA physician that they seek an alternative center for future IVF procedures. If UCLA continues to partner with your center, we will be forced to find a new physician who does not work with ART center. read more

I'm not sure what is going on with this place, but there is some sort of billing scam or huge oversight in the system. I am billed annually in April for storage and paid this a few months ago. A few weeks ago I started getting incredibly vague messages - not even identifying themselves as having a past due account. I call to clear it up once and start receiving the exact same messages again. I attempted to reach out to the director and got an email saying while I paid this year, I am being billed ahead because I missed a passed year? I don't believe this is correct, but I don't have all of these records at hand and ask for invoices to be shared/further explanation. All I receive back is a back dated invoice for March with a LATE fee. Again this answers no questions and does not address that I made a payment in April. These are sensitive issues and I will not be continuing with this practice. Does anyone else here know how to transfer eggs to another facility? read more

Good luck getting YOUR OWN MEDICAL RECORDS from this "lab." They are horrible at their job & I would not recommend them to anyone. Take your money elsewhere- there is no shortage of fertility labs in Los Angeles. Fortunately for me, I am a lawyer and gearing up to sue them. DM me for more details. Oh God, where do I begin to express the horror we endured coming here. Before I even had my eggs extracted one of their terrible nurses failed to thred my vein properly and blew it out like she was fresh out of meds school. They over charged us on multiple occasions, also their pricing is some of the worst I've seen, other practices do not charge as much as they do. Don't be fooled just because they are in Beverly hills doesn't mean their office is up to date. The equipment was old and had been payed for a million times over, the waiting room was "pretty" the rooms were something out of the 80s or 90s aesthetically. NOW ABOUT HOW THEY HANDLED OUR EMBRYOS, when I showed up it wasn't until I was in the stirrups that the nurse took it upon herself to disclose that one of my embryos (a girl) had deteriorated when they tried to thaw her. Like most people when they hear this news I was devastated, confused, worried, and so very saddened!! Why did this happen?! So I asked, I wasn't given an answer! She wouldn't tell me why, the answer I got was "no one knows why it happens". I had to go to another practice with another doctor to find out yes they do know why it happens there are three very good reasons as to why an embryo can deteriorate. I completely believe that they mishandled my embryos. And then proceeded to down play it and lie to me. I remember they immediately tried to put my attention on another embryo (a boy) that was "perfectly fine" (as in not deteriorated). I absolutely believe without a doubt that they treated my embryos and me as expendable. it's funny how unempathetic doctors can be whose whole job is to create babies, life, precious life!!!! It's a game to them it's all about money. I think the most infuriating frustrating part was when we were trying to move our embryos to another more responsible lab ART made it the most inconvenient painstaking process they could possibly make it, as I was trying to switch doctors and practices they wouldn't even provide me with my medical information nor would they provide me with the embryos information. And tried to charge me twice for moving my embryos. just because this practice is in Beverly hills does not mean it is top quality does not even mean it is high quality. This place provided me with some of the most mediocre care I have ever received. People wanting to be parents please do not go to ART reproductive center instead please spend your time and money elsewhere it's an expensive sad process and you don't need to be in a place with doctors who treat your embryos and you as expendable. I recommend California Fertility Partners, they don't charge as much as ART and they r in Santa Monica. And they won't lie to you as the reason why your embryo might deteriorate. Also major props to CFP since They also kept calling and bothering ART to make them actually follow through on the paperwork and moving the embryos, I truly believe had it not been for the amazing people at CFP ART would still be holding onto my medical info and embryos because that is how disorganized and unprofessional they are. read more

Anyone going through assisted reproduction knows it can be very stressful, particularly when it comes to timelines. You do not want to know how much money we have spent at ART and Dr. Danzer only to receive a threat for collections and then be double charged. The communication is terrible. Agree with other reviews that the office here is a mess. I had numerous issues with them continually using my wrong name. After "correcting" the problem, I got a bill emailed a year later with the wrong name sent to an incorrect address with a late fee for a bill I never received. They sent it to my workplace even though I never provided that address. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, I haven't heard back. read more

ALERT!! ALERT!! ALERT!! ART Reproductive billing scam! Avoid these people at all costs! My wife and I used ART Reproductive Center and our experience was absolutely horrible! They do not communicate well, if at all, and definitely not in a timely manner. After having an embryo in storage at their facility, we opted out and signed numerous Docu-Sign documents that were emailed to us. They were properly sent and we received no further notice until literally MONTHS later. I think we know how to use Docu-Sign as we recently used it to purchase a house and had no issues. After speaking with ART Reproductive Center people, they then just resend the Docu-Sign form again... Again, we have filled out and sent it over to them a number of times along with our drivers licenses. How do I even know if they'll get it this time (4th time) or want to charge us from some new date when they finally get it?... It seems like we're just going around in circles and I have begun the process of filing a complaint with the State Medical Board. I have been an egg donor a number of times each at a different facility for different families. ART was by far my favorite! They has state of the art labs and the embryologists were great. It was awesome to work with the phlebotomists, they made it much more bearable to have my blood drawn every single day. Debbie Thompson was the most amazing nurse I've ever had the pleasure of working with and Michelle was just as spectacular. Can't say enough about Debbie and the team at ART. After multiple attempts at conceiving at other facilities, they got the job done on the first attempt, and we are now the proud parents of a beautiful girl. More importantly though, the kindness and caring of the staff made the process so much less traumatizing that the other facilities. They were always so nice, taking the time to listen to and answer our questions and concerns, emotionally supporting us every step of the way. I did IVF twice using the ART lab and have a wonderful and amazing little girl. I trust the lab and the staff has always been fantastic to me, communicative, informative, and encouraging. Yes you do have your feet in leg rests (not sure how else an embryo is supposed to get in there) and yes you do get billed if you are lucky enough to have embryos in storage. And any fertility stuff is going to be awkward and uncomfortable and expensive. But everyone is so kind, it helps distract you from the obvious unpleasantness. I am a former patient at the ART lab and succesfully had two beautiful children with them. They are extremely professional, efficient and competent. In my opinion this is the best embryology lab in the country. They offer the most advanced technology in the IVF world. The ART nurses and staff were above and beyond helpful which made this process much easier to go through. I also had the pleasure to speak with Dr. Hill (lab director) and he was more than helpful and a wealth of information. Overall my experience was exceptionally postive despite the not so fun process of IVF. The ART lab truly cares about it's patients and the ulitmate goal of getting the patient "pregnant." As with any business there is always the financial side of things. I found the billing very simple. Everything was presented upfront and explained very well. There were never any surprises and we knew exactly what we were paying for. A detailed bill was provided showing what we were charged for and it was made very clear there would be a yearly storage fee. The ART Reproductive Center is the ONLY place I would refer any friends or family too. They are simply the best at what they do!!! read more

The staff and procedures went well, no complaints there. Billing department is a big scam. When we first had our procedure done (2007) they didn't disclose all of the "materials" they had stored and let us know a year later so we had to pay for storage for it. Never sent any additional statements and was just sent to collections. I called and they had a three year old address and never attempted to contact by phone. I would not recommend or if you do go there make sure you stay on top of it (do their jobs for them basically). read more

Facility is very clean, all white, easy on the eyes. I came here for my egg retrieval and was coming from the other side of LA County. Considering facility's location (which i wont even take into account as we whole heartedly decided to go here) my husband and i made sure we arrive on time if not early as i dont like being late to anything. We arrived about 1-hour early thinking we would have to do paperwork and other financial stuff. The receptionist was not as welcoming as i would have hope so, considering the people they serve. She kept saying that we were too early (pretty sure she would have said something if we were late as well), we said we know as we didnt want to be late either. She said she was going to start but paperwork but if someone comes in, she would have to attend to that person- that was fine with me. After everything, i didnt bother her, she reiterated that i was too early. She just made me feel UNWELCOME. Moving forward, everybody in the peri-op area was so nice and warm. They made me feel at ease which calmed my nerves. They introduced themselves and explained everything. I know that it must be tough being the front line of any business, but i think that the receptionist should be more welcoming considering the clientele they have. read more
