I've now done 2 events with Splash Art Class and they were both such wonderful experiences: fun, engaging, relaxing, an all around good time. The events I attended were at a Country Club, however she travels wherever you may need her: work event, bridal shower/bachelorette party, girls night and even kids events! Long story short, I have some small crafting background, but nothing compares to how well Nicole can paint. She grew up around art and it is so evident that she is passionate about art itself and teaching others too. Every event we start off the first few steps of painting and I lose hope for my picture turning out as it should, but in the end I LOVE the final results. When I was in 3rd grade, I was a girl with bad attitude and grades,but also really low self esteem and self confidence. After 5 years, in tutoring I made so much friends there too. I learned the importance of friends and it's that to love them over theIr quality and not because u have so many of friends. They have my back and I can count on them to deal with these problems. Also, what I learned was that if there's a will there's a way and if there's a way, than there's an A. I love the instructors there too. They understand how hard something is and that if we try to hide our grades from them, they'll find their ways to see the grades and help us get better. My grades went from C's and D's to honor roll. The star instructors/ my inspiration is Ms. Donahue which is the best thing that ever happen to me. She was the one that never gave up on me and knows that I do have the ability to do something amazing and change the world. Even though there were ups and downs, she still believes in me. I love you so much Ms. Donahue and I so happy that you're a part of my life and changed myself into a positive, smart, and beautiful woman that I am today. In my opinion, the school isn't what it's made out to be. The owner has a strong sales pitch, but the actual curriculum felt very watered down. I tried to set up a parent-teacher conference early on and kept getting the runaround. I also found out that many of the "teachers" are college /highschool students without formal credentials. That alone might be fine, but when I asked about the curriculum, no one could really explain it, and the owner was rarely around. There were also some concerning incidents. One staff member fired a teacher in front of the class while yelling and using inappropriate language, which upset the kids. There was also a situation where a younger student and an older teen locked themselves in a bathroom, and that same teen was later caught watching inappropriate content on a school computer with little supervision. Overall, it just didn't feel like a safe or structured environment. I really hope things have improved, but I wanted to share my experience so other families can make an informed decision. I will never recommend this school to anyone.

She was patient, provided guidance every bit of the way and had a wonderful personality. I think I have found a new hobby and creative outlet thanks to her. They offer more than just beginner stained glass classes (intermediate level classes with more sessions are available), they also offer wood crafting, mosaics and crafts for kids as well. The lady in charge made sure everyone had what they needed and made it easy to do. I highly recommend this place for their art classes and birthday party packages. We were part of a party with 20 5 and 6 year olds and they all enjoyed it.
