Wow! Art of drink making was beyond what I was expecting. They truly care about the event and guests. Tony went out of his way to come up with a menu and helped us with additional drinks he recommended. Even had an espresso machine! They truly care about the taste of their drinks, making sure guests are entertained and enjoying their drinks. They came early to set up and we're in uniform. I highly recommend renting the glasses as this truly elevate the drinks when served. My guests are still talking about the hibiscus drink and smoked scotch they made. I look forward to having them host our bar next event as I can trust them. Tony also was able to give me an healthy estimate for grocery shopping which made things easy. I highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Tony is awesome! Very professional. Great drinks. This was our first time hiring a bartender and we are so happy we hired Tony. We will definitely be using him again for future events. Thank you for making my birthday party even more memorable.

Hired them for our summer company party and they were great! Our boss wanted to only serve margaritas and they surprised us with 4 different types. Of course I had to try each one and they were individually unique, potent, and flavorful. They were both engaging, professional, and just outright fun! Thanks for MAKING our summer party!!!

This was our second time booking Tony for our event and he was amazing. We booked him short notice for 4th of July, for about 100 people, and he still came through. He responded quickly to messages, questions, and concerns before and after the event. Tony arrived about 30-45 minutes before the event to set up his station. During the event, he was professional, friendly, and detail oriented. He was prepared and knowledgeable in everything regarding drink making. Tony makes most of the: mixes, juices, mixers, and garnishings himself. They're soooo good! We personally enjoyed his Strawberry Moscow Mules and his lemon-lavender mojitos (can't really remember the exact drink/name). We booked him for about 4 hours, but he ended up staying for about 5 hours. We will definitely book Tony again. Everyone was raving about how great he was and how delicious the drinks were. We highly recommend him. Thank you Tony!

I hired Art of Drink Making for a bridal shower we just had this past weekend and let me tell you I was very impressed to say the least! I decided to book them after inquiring about pricing and other details. I spoke with Tony and the communication was very straightforward and professional. I knew exactly what they provided (which they bring their own bar ) and the pricing details. I expressed the types of cocktails I was looking to have for the shower and He immediately sent over signature cocktails that sounded so amazing, complete with hand dried fruit garnishes. I decided on 3 signature cocktails, one being the tequila infused with pineapple and Serranos for a spicy margarita. José was our actual bartender for the shower and he made these drinks spectacular! They tasted amazing and looked great! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed them! They also all raved about how friendly and professional he was at the shower! He also was able to make mocktails for our pregnant friends and non drinkers which made them all so happy and feeling included! I will definitely be hiring them for any upcoming events I have! If you're looking for two fun, passionate and professional bartenders to make your event that much better, Art of Drink Making is where it's at!

She was helpful in every aspect of planning, she even has an option you can upgrade and have her do the shopping if you like. She was very accommodating with all my requests. She even offered to dress up for the event which I found so thoughtful! She was readily available via yelp, email and phone. She was fast, and kept the line moving so no one was waiting long for their cocktails! Even when tasked with pouring 20 shots at a time, she knocked them out! Cocktails were delicious! She has an extensive craft cocktail selection-it made it difficult to choose from since they all sound amazing! She allows you to provide as much alcohol as you like so guests were not limited to the just the signature cocktails. She provides all the garnishes-some were fresh, I was so impressed that she even provided fresh watermelon for one of the cocktails instead of using a store bought mixture. Clean up was fast and smooth. She provided everything she needed, bar-which she graciously allowed me to decorate, cooler and table as well as cups, napkins and straws. Everyone at the party loved her and I will definitely utilize her for any future bartending needs!

I was expecting an experience similar to the Purple Easel in Ontario where you an have instructor guide you on how to paint a disco ball and cocktails are provided. I left with what Cher from the film Clueless would describe as a "Monet" of a painting and feeling disappointed and scammed out of $50. DISCLAIMER: If you are not able bodied or if you have leg issues, back issues or buttocks issues, this event is not for you. This building is old and I didn't see an elevator. Also, you are sitting on the floor on a cheap throw pillow. I've seen cute charcuterie events at the beach and they provide better seats than this. The flyer does not mention any of these things. For the painting , we basically self taught ourselves how to paint these disco balls. I referred to the You Tube video provided by Art with Mrs. Hibbs called, "Learn how to paint a beautiful and sparkling disco ball." HOW I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE EVENT: I do not follow their social media, just went in blind because my sister and her friends were going and thought this would be a cute event on a Saturday afternoon. I did checkout their social media page after I attended and saw this is the setup for all the events, criss-cross apple sauce on the ground. THE EXPERIENCE: I climbed 2 flights of stairs and arrived to like a studio apartment from the 1920's and in my mind said, "OH HELL NO..." when I saw we were sitting on the ground for this. When I arrived there were thin wooden circles on the table and I asked how to do this and my sister started showing me kind of how to trace the lines on the wood. I asked her where the teacher was and she said she's making the drinks. Turns out everyone else was clueless as well because the party to the right of me were all questioning each other and looking around too. I found out later, that in the first 15 minutes I wasn't there, the girl put minimal effort into explaining how to paint and offered to air drop or text instructions to my sister and she just text her a photo of the finished product, not how to trace the lines or paint it. Thus, I looked up how to do this on YouTube , but then my phone died 15 minutes later. So we're all winging it and drawing lines every which way and all the while the two female hosts are making cocktails and chatting it up with each other like they're in the back of house at a busy restaurant, but they were literally feet away from us in a makeshift kitchen in a tiny studio apartment so we could hear them talking about nothing. Also, there were about 12 of us total and they prepped no drinks ahead of time and spent most of the time just making a batch of craft cocktails and not really mingling with the guests or guiding us on how to paint this disco ball. At some point they brought out popcorn as the appetizer? I mean, $50 and you're going to serve popcorn on a plate and that's the light snack? GIRL BYE! I could've just done this in my garage with sushi from Sam's Club, or charcuterie from Aldi and cool snacks from Trader Joe's. I don't even think they microwaved the popcorn on site?! What I learned from this experience is that this was about the sip and not the paint. I'm all about supporting small businesses and exploring different communities but this event lacked intention and thought and the vibe fell flat. It wasn't giving and also the hosts were too busy making cocktails, passing them out then sitting behind the makeshift counter and either talking to each other or being on their phones. One of the girls came out towards the end and asked how we were doing then proceeded to lie to us and say our paintings were beautiful. The interaction felt forced and insincere. I only liked one of the cocktails and I couldn't even tell you the name of it. It was the one without the pineapple foam. You're better off meeting your friends and new people at a bar in downtown. If you've been to any of the SlowJamz Vinyl & VIno events in downtown L.A., then you know what it's like to go somewhere and meet new people easily and vibe and a major part of that is having great hosts that encourage mingling and get the conversation going. No amount of alcohol, drugs or trendy decor can replace that.

I sent him so many pictures of different alcohols and ingredients, just to make sure it was what we needed and he always responded within a few minutes, which I REALLY appreciated since I was already at the store. For the cocktails, Efrain sent me a list to choose from but I was also able to add a drink that wasn't on the list. We also changed some of the cocktails we originally chose and he was happy to adjust. All of the drinks were really good!!! And everyone at the wedding LOVED Scooby Snack so I definitely recommend that one! During the wedding, a few of the groomsmen also requested different drinks that wasn't on the list we had but Efrain was happy to make it for them. Seriously, I've worked with so many vendors and NEVER have dealt with someone like this. I have screenshots of this terrible service, but I would rather not go there publicly. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Edit: Original guest count 100, new was down to 75-85. We did the same EXACT wedding last year for the sister with ONE bartender.
