Yes Fnac is the Swiss equivalent of Best Buy in the US and boy, it sure does a good job. Any time I've had to make a big technical purchase (Tv, Laptop.... batteries) I've always gone to Fnac. They are helpful, friendly and will get you the right product and not try to screw you over either. If you are a non french speaker, most of the staff also speak english... but come on, the only way to learn is to try ;)

Anyway, as Apple is mega-popular in Switzerland, certain times of the day this place can be a zoo. If you need technical help, book by phone and expect to wait 15 to 30 minutes longer than your reserved time-slot before you get your appointment.
