My mother and I got there right when they opened. The large artwork outside with old signs was so captivating. The building was huge and then we found out there were TWO BUILDINGS. SCORE! We were here for about 2.5 hours. There is so much to look at! It looks like there was sections within the store where different collections were curated. There is absolutely everything you can think of from Taylor Swift themed items, plants, artwork, vintage plates and glassware, old gaming systems, books, jewelry, home decor, old signs, hard to come by sodas, and MORE. I came away with some treasures like food shaped magnets, a chicken shaped trivet, napkin holder. and a vintage sconce. It was so cool to explore through the second floor, old van with vintage dishes, and even a room dedicated to spooky stuff. Everything seemed priced well and in fairly good condition. I'm a total flower snob as…read morewhen I send someone flowers if they don't say "WOWWWWW" and post them all over Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and every other social media site they spend every waking hour on then I haven't done my job in picking the right florist! Well, without a doubt I did my job this time as I scored when it came to being so lucky as to choose Bloom's. First off it is run by a Mother-Daughter team and from the moment I called and spoke to Adrienne (the daughter) I knew I made the right choice. She was so sweet and friendly I immediately felt like I had known her for years. I told her after spending 2 hours going through all the websites of the different flower shops in the Hattiesburg area (there are like 20 shops out there! what's the deal there must be a ton of misbehaving husbands in Hattiesburg or a lot of really great women!) the reason I chose them is because they had the best looking website and because they do weddings. I figured if this place is trusted with flowers for the most important day of peoples lives then they should be good enough for my girlfriend who was in Hattiesburg from California for a few months. Anyways, I explained to Adrienne that I was very picky and I wanted something that would impress my girlfriend and all the other girls she was staying with and make them wonder why they don't have a guy like me! Well, it worked! Adrienne and her team designed and delivered the biggest and most gorgeous (and I don't just throw that word around) arrangement of flowers my girlfriend had ever received. She was so stunned by it that I had guys texting me after looking at the pictures she posted on Facebook saying "dude how much do you drop on those flowers that's ridiculous!?!".. And that's the crazy part, the flowers were not that expensive and nowhere near what they looked like they were worth! The reason I know this is because I later on ordered from another florist because Blooms was closed during some huge snowstorm that was going on (the whole town was shut down, it had over 2 inches of snow, whoa! State of emergency look out!) and the flowers my girlfriend received from one of the bigger shops over there absolutely paled in comparison. I was absolutely embarrassed that she even received this other arrangement as she totally thought I was getting cheap on her!! No pictures on Facebook or anywhere else btw... Don't worry though, I made it up to her and ordered at least 2 or 3 more arrangements from Bloom's and each one was just as perfect as the first one they did. Everything about the flowers was perfect from the vase to the bow, all the way to the card (which she even threw in for free without me even asking her!). I've never been more satisfied with ordering flowers and I've ordered ALOT of flowers! Because I'm a nice guy of course not because I'm a womanizer if that's what you're thinking ;) So, bottom line, if you want to impress a girl or girls, loved ones, hated ones, whomever you want to send flowers to, do yourself and the person you're sending flowers to a favor and call this place.... You can thank me later ;)

I found a set of 3 canisters on the 'less than $10' isle. Each was marked with a sticker price on…read moretop of the original At Home price sticker. One would think that it was a markdown, right? No! Their new sticker was $2-$3 above the original sticker price. Anyway, seeing that they were on the sale isle, I figured those stickers wouldn't matter anyway and would indeed be less than $10. Wrong again! They rang up as the new sticker price. When I asked the clerk about the markup, all she said was 'that's corporate for you!' If that's the way they want to do business then I'll take my business elsewhere.
