I absolutely love this little, charming restaurant in Taranto. Packed with lots of locals, this…read moreplace surely serves some of Taranto's best cuisine. It is indeed delicious, and I understand why it tops 'must visit'-lists often.
This is a trattoria, first and foremost, but it still includes a beautiful, quite elegant interior combined with table cloths, proper wine glasses and a service that feels secure and knowing.
We went there for some lunch which was classic, but very tasty. First of was wine. Cheap, but our glass of white was intense, yet still light. Food was equally amazing. Classic Italian dishes, of course, but with a local and Puglian twist. Seafood was, naturally, a winner here - and combined into almost every dish.
I had a beatiful pasta dish; orechiette with tomato, mussels and pecorino romano. Simple, but very good.
This is a place I would gladly return to, if visiting Taranto again. Definietly one of the best dining experiences for our Puglia travels.
