In preparation for renting the house out Raz assisted me with renovating the home by putting new flooring throughout, bathroom upgrades as well as updating the kitchen. Raz then found and vetted the most amazing tenants which stayed in my property for four years and were so respectful and left the place immaculate. Once the tenancy was done, Raz help me with the sale of the property he listed and showed the home and eventually sold it for our asking price. We had been struggling with the fines from the city and was stressed from them before the closing date of our house sell (FYI if you don't resolve the city fines and issues, you can continuously get fined from the city of Glendale). Raz followed through and was good on his word so our impossible front yard case from the city was closed with major help from Raz. He is also easily assessable by phone or text-he is really really good at responding back. How did we stumble upon the best realtor in Glendale??Called down the list of realtors on yelp and Raz picked up the phone fast and was able to come by the next day to provide us estimates. We had other agents provide us estimates on the house but Raz had a significantly higher estimated price. He gave us different scenarios on how we could price and sell the home. We also liked his transparency. He also had some experience in construction so he knows what could be possible in remodeling a home. Honestly, buying a house is not an easy task especially in such a competitive market as Los Angeles. I was searching for well over 6 months and worked with multiple real estate agents that didn't take the initiative to help me find a home and execute on my goals of closing something immediately (before interests went up). Searching for a home is already stressful, but to realize after the fact, the home buying process is very complicated and requires so much more work in order to close. Thank goodness for Sam! We applied for a rental unit at one of the properties Perch Properties is managing and it was an…read moreexperience! First off, I must say, they are very nice people. Prior to my tour, I was in contact with Teja who was very helpful. When it came to the day of the tour, I guess there was a mix up in agents, but Janaka ended up showing up to the building, to give me a tour of the place. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable! :) During the application process, the application is very old school. It took us a few days to get everything together. We had to print and scan a bunch of documents then submit it via email. From what I know of family who work in the industry, most applications are done online and you can submit information as well as link bank accounts electronically lol. I wasn't comfortable submitting all of our personal information via email, so I asked for them to call me for additional information that I'd be able to provide over the phone. Although the application process was odd, the service was pretty great. The only reason I deducted a star was because like other reviews have said, they don't get back to you after your application. I had to keep reaching out to them to get answers. I also didn't like that they assume instead of verify. My husband and I rent an ADU in Commerce, but they said "currently listed address in application doesn't seem to be a rental". My husband has been here a few years and I just moved in last year. His driver's license and some bills reflect our current address, but we were never asked for additional information to verify. We also make well over the standard 2.5-3x income. I am pretty chill so I'm okay with not being selected for the unit as it is privately owned, but I didn't appreciate having to wait and keep asking for updates on why we weren't selected lol. Anyways, great people! It's just the communication that could be better and more clear. I would still recommend Perch Properties based on my interactions, because they still respond if you reach out to them :)
