We came for dinner and I got the turkey and brie sandwich. The brie melted in your mouth and paired perfectly with the crunchy vegetables and turkey in the sandwich. There was also a layer of fruit jam which created a salty sweet combination that was delicious. I also shared a warm custard bread pudding for dessert with a friend (be aware that you have to order this 30 minutes ahead as they bake it fresh!) which was so yummy - it was quite sweet but gooey and a lovely mixture of caramel flavors that paired nicely with the vanilla gelato. Prices are on the higher side but align with the attention that is paid to each plate! They have a super cute bookstore next to the cafe which is fun to browse. The set-up is within three stories of a house and the decor/design inside is very cozy - definitely worth checking out. On the third floor children's section there is a toy train that periodically circles the top of the room which is a fun touch too!

Heartbreaking. The bookstore is exceptional. But the cafe is absurdly expensive and the male waiter…read morewalks the fine line on rude. The wonderful waitress, Sabrina, saved this from being a one star review. First the food. You pay $15 on the kids menu for literally a scrambled egg on an unbuttered piece of toast. Nothing else on the plate. The $24 breakfast is two scrambled eggs on white toast with a few cherry tomorrows on top and a side of small meatball-looking turkey sausages. I was shocked, but since I was with my child, I didn't want to say a thing. There is absolutely NOTHING on this menu worth the cost or experience. Also, they do not pour the tea and if you ask for milk (typically served with dark teas) the waiter gives you impatient side-eye. The cafe has everything, EVERYTHING which could really make it a spectacular experience, and I can say that I will never go again or recommend. Get a muffin and coffee/tea at Tatte or Flour Bakery and skip this cafe and go straight to the book store. The bookstore is a joy.

This is the best book store & cafe I've ever been too…read more Lovestruck Books & Cafe is a romance-focused bookstore and cafe in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that offers a curated selection of romance novels, from contemporary to "romantasy," alongside a cafe with coffee and pastries, and plans for an evening wine bar. It aims to be an inclusive community hub with events, author signings, and merchandise, featuring cozy reading nooks and a focus on diverse voices in romance but also an amazing children's book and sitting area that is perfection to every momma bear ! While in Boston I promised my mini I'd buy her a new book for her collection back home and this book store caught my eye while having a beautiful evening stroll with my love. Service is so sweet and kind , the set up is cozy and the smell of coffee and books is simply perfection. Value is fantastic as well ! I will always make a trip just for this store when in Boston and plan to bring my little one up for a long weekend , I can't wait to see what she picks !

It's clearly for their merchandise and not the customer service. I walked in through the side door and first went to the cute kids section. I was pleased by the amount of books my nieces would see themselves represent in. I decided to walk around first before picking some out. I went around the store once to get the lay of the land and not feel overwhelmed, a then again to narrow in on things, so many things that I adored and wanted to buy. However... it became apparent to me that most of the people in the store were not customers, but were employees. 3-4 people behind the register and another 2-3 on the floor.
