Not sure who your property manager is for your apartment/ property, but the experience Ive had (along with the people i live with) agreed that property professionals did not seem "professional" at all. I noticed a few other reviews feel the same and so Im relieved to know I am not alone feeling this way. Unless, and to be frank, you view "professional" as being cold business and just the "deal- deal" talk. I felt like the last minute notice (email, text, especially call) is inconvenient, although I always say its okay. I do not know why as well they switch from email everyone to calling everyone (but I guess for last minute you cannot control?) If you dont speak up they favor you are better anyway. Or at least I think so no because the first few time when I did care I had no body contact me back, UNTIL I found out the managers REAL contact information. (Tricky, huh?). Still not sure till this day why they didn't respond the first couple months of being switched from our previous original building company but it's whatever I guess... Renovation on the building I live in had poor construction workers in my opinion. (mess was made without warning).... Rent was raised because of the renovation but I feel like they should have relocated everyone to a different building while having them work on the harder renovation which most of us in the building probably had to tolerate with all the hammering, power saw, cement dusting cement that got splattered ALL OVER the walls doors and windows- had to clean the door and whole place because cement dust got everywhere, no-one knocked or called to clean the door, it was hard). It is annoying as well to hear most the construction workers laughing and joking and talking story majority the time they get here before even beginning to work... But eh. Whatever? I did not feel like they treat everyone with the same PRIORITY so just beware. Although it would be nice to know WHY. Otherwise I feel like my life is a spiral of being messed with for no reason at all. I think its fair to rate 3 stars, though I was close to rating just one star (but lets put my own frustrations about the renovations and poor communication aside) because there were times I complained of people smoking near the building and animals on the premises and I guess I was helped because an email to everyone in the building was sent the next day. Whoever was smoking didn't stop smoking though, but I appreciate and respect that effort. (Another star for the small Christmas presents so far. They know how to bribe you. Haha just kidding. But seriously). I might be taking a poor jump here posting it on social media but I honestly don't not know where else I can write a review. I guarantee if anyone knew this was written about them they would probably change (which is good). But if they don't change-- uh oh (drama~). Thanks for reading my review

The inspection process is incredibly stressful and lacks a basic understanding of what it means to live in a home. The management team treats the property as if it must be kept in 'show-room' condition at all times, as if for an immediate sale. They are completely unsympathetic to the realities of daily life, treating temporary, harmless, and minor household messiness as grounds for threats of eviction. This creates an environment of intimidation rather than professional property management. Living in constant fear of losing your housing over petty, non-damaging issues is unacceptable. Furthermore, their handling of maintenance issues is highly problematic. When I encountered a property defect, the contractor they dispatched misdiagnosed the root cause and blamed me as the tenant. It appears to be a standard practice for management to shift the financial responsibility of home repairs onto the tenant rather than the property owner. Despite providing a clear, logical explanation as to why the issue was structural and not caused by my use of the unit, management refused to consider my side of the story and forced me to pay for the service call. I feel that this company prioritizes offloading maintenance costs onto tenants rather than fostering a fair and reasonable living experience. I would urge potential tenants to be very cautious when considering a property managed by this firm.

Owner refused to fix broken dishwasher and leaking ice maker in fridge. Clark realty switched agents on us from move in to move out and they are going with what the owner claims ( apparently they thought everything was perfect and spotless). Pre-move in cleaning was not up to par but they claim their cleaners are impeccable. Found broken glass and years of dirt when we had to move the fridge and stove to clean. I will never recommend Clark realty to anyone and will be sure to post reviews so anyone coming to this island knows how they operate so they don't have to deal with the same issues and nonsense.
