We were able to see the upper part of Yellowstone one day, the lower part another day, and then use the rest of our time to revisit and explore the places we wanted to see more deeply. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. Another nice touch was the fire pits, which they turned on around 5 p.m. each evening. It was a fun and relaxed way to meet some of the other people staying at the cabins. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. It's walking distance to everything in town - shops, restaurants, groceries. It is across the street from the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center (great for a rainy day or a break from the part). You can't beat the location. It is very close to the Museum of Yellowstone. It's next door to a McDonald's (yes there is a McDonald's in West Yellowstone!). I considered getting a two-bedroom suite at the Hotel, with a full kitchen before I decided on the cabin. The cabin had a bit more space and some privacy. This stay was for 3 adults (myself, my husband, and our adult son). Cabin #17. We stayed for a week mid-September. The cabin was well maintained, and the one issue we had, was fixed the same day (while we were out of the cabin). The kitchen is small. The refrigerator is a mini-undercounter type, so don't over buy food that needs refrigeration. There is plenty of cabinet space for dry goods. There is a cooktop with two burners and a tea kettle. Perfect for quick breakfast! There is also a coffee make (drip type). Some pots and pans (see photos). Plates mugs and glasses. Full set of flatware with Openers. Cooking Utensils. Toaster. An ice maker, that was very nice and we used it. Small dishwasher. There is dining table/chairs. You have a sofa, chair, large coffee table and TV trays. The TV trays were older, very heavy and hard to negotiate. We decided to just stick with the coffee table. The beds were very comfortable (one King and one Queen). Both had closets. Bathroom had a very small vanity but several cabinets to store our stuff. Definitely only one at a time in the bathroom, just too small. The sofa is a sofa bed, but I can't imagine putting more bodies into this smaller space, even kids. Housekeeping stopped by most days and we just asked for what we needed. We didn't need much other than towels. Staff was very friendly and helpful along with the front desk staff when we checked in and out. There is a fire pit outside that gets lit every night (including when it's raining) with chairs surrounding the pit. The rooms are stocked with S'more Kits (more available at the front desk) and that was a nice touch. We did make S'mores one night! Definitely if you are traveling with kids they will enjoy the firepit and S'mores! The cabin was pricey especially since this was Shoulder not High season considering the size. However, there isn't many other options. We liked being a short walk into town, and believe it or not we even went to McDonald's!

The cabin also has a full sized washer and dryer, which was very convenient. The WIFI was available, but I have to say it is not very fast. Considering the location, this was not too surprising. There were no problems with billing, or unexpected charges. Overall a great choice for a large party, I highly recommend this location!

We were headed out the door with no where to stay. They refunded my payment without contacting me, I just got an email saying my money had been refunded. Explain how they can refund my money if it was never received. When I first looked into the property and I should have know they would not have good customer service when the invoice magically increased by $380 overnight. DO NOT RENT with this company, scammers and dishonest. They make false claims and may cause stress to your trip. Absolutely terrible!

When I was calmly and respectfully expressing my concerns, he went totally off on me-yelling, calling me a liar and stated that he knew I was just one of those people that complained in order to get a free vacation. That is simply not true. ( I have excellent ratings with HomeAway as a customer.) He has refused any kind of compensation stating the unit is in perfect condition. I would not recommend using this company for your time in Yellowstone.

I was excited when I saw a Studio was available the week we wanted to travel, so I booked it. I did not realize the unlike the others rooms, the studio only has a murphy bed. For my wife and I who always sleep in a king at home, it was less than ideal. I looked online and they didn't have a Single available for the rest of the days of my stay. I went down to the front to see what they could do. The manager Cody was great. He moved some things around and was able to get me a single. The single is easily twice as much space. The bed was comfy, the unit had AC in both the living room and the bedroom. Given how sold out West Yellowstone is this week (the other places we looked were like $400 per night), I appreciate them working a miracle and getting us a room we could enjoy. Add into that, its like three turns and less than a mile to get into the park, I would definately come back. Amazing location, amazing service and a very nice room.

We had a BBQ with family and friends who had a vacation rental at Worldmark Resort by Wyndham at…read morethe south end of West Yellowstone WY. (Jul 2026). It was clean and up-to-date, with a large lobby, a nice pool, some cute décor, and a large outdoor area with several gas grills. There's a small convenience store at the reception desk. We liked the facilities, and had a good time. But it felt more like a timeshare condominium complex than a "Resort". The front-desk host seemed unwelcoming in all but the most brief check-in and check-out encounters. My guess is that, for us, it was a resort hotel, but unknown short-term-rental guests need more attention and security-awareness from staff than timeshare owners need. My suggestion to travelers would be, yes, come here for a vacation rental, but don't expect resort-like courtesies. It bills itself as a resort, but the staff is managing time-share condos. For Worldmark, consider that your members are offering these short-term rentals, so either welcome guests, or restrict them. We were guests of renters, using the pool and bbq yard. We felt tolerated, not welcome. Update: The Worldmark commented on my review within a couple of days. To me that means they wanted to do better and will try. They didn't ask me to, but i added back a star for trying to do better.
