I applied 1 month ago and went in for the interview. The lady didn't even care to give me an interview she kinda just brushed me off. You'll get notifications on your phone if you sign up. I did I called and would be sent back to the automated phone system. After I was able to speak with someone the lady I spoke with sounded as if she was chewing her life away and was very unprofessional. This review is of the testing center only. When I came in there was hardly a wait, and it was pretty quiet. HUGE entry room. I had an appointment to take a test on a computer, and to my dismay the computer testing room is basically adjoining the main entry room. Anyone taking ANY computer test is in the same room; it made it hard to test while people were whispering and I'm sure my keyboard clacking away didn't help THEM either. Then an employee from the back came to the front and was talking SO LOUDLY it was distracting. HEY this is YOUR place of work, please keep it down for those of us testing! And as people came in the front the door would beep and those at the front desk would talk super loud. VERY ANNOYING. Once my test was done, the person at the front wouldn't timely give me my paperwork. She made a (non important) phone call and helped someone else before giving me my printout so I could go. read more

Arrow staffing is an advent practitioner of age, racial and gender discrimination. I applied and submitted a resume onlinefor clerical or light industrial work. I applied in the office after three days of their harassing automated calls for interview, testing and paperwork application. I did not get any tests until I received an email for a basic computer information test which I had planned to complete Monday, but the link did not work on Saturday when I changed the task scheduling. In the office for two hours waiting for an interview for employment I was confronted with uncomfortable questions about my abilities such as if l am "sure have any strength to lift over 20 lbs." Four days later, on a Monday, I did a follow-up phone call for an assignment but was told I was rejected by the agency without a reason. When I asked for a reason the staffing coordinator said she "has no access" and that "the system does not explain rejections." Instead, she wanted to refer me to other local temp agencies. I should have known better considering agents whom came from assignments where a constant color, very young and from gender expected roles (like women were getting the clerical jobs and men heavy duty work). read more

I went to the job fair and after having a good conversation about a position I was told I would get an email or call the next day for an interview with the company. Well its been a week and after having to chase down an answer I have chosen to not continue pursuing opportunities with them. The lack of communication of even saying hey heres another position or saying therw has been no response on the clients end....use another agency this one is not reliable. read more

Do NOT go to Arrow Staffing in Redlands on State Street. Sandra was thee most unprofessional excuse for a recruiter/ receptionist I have ever dealt with. She had me running all over the County taking TB tests, computer tests, obtaining licensure, all of which I had to pay for. She told me I would be starting as soon as I had everything. She constantly avoided my phone calls and emails and would send me extremely rude emails telling me she didn't know the start date. Ok, well it's your job to find out otherwise don't have me paying for all this stuff and wasting gas if you don't even know if and when I will start. She raised her voice to me every time. After emailing the general manager and calling his location I finally got them to refund all the fees I paid but I still lost time, energy, and gas. And come to find out they are STILL advertising for that exact position with that exact company 2 years later! That is what motivated me to write this review. All the prior reviews about Arrow Staffing are correct. This agency is HORRIBLE!! Their website is complete chaos. It is hard to figure out and navigate. The online application process is fake. As soon as you apply you get a robo call to come in to the office to continue the process. In the office is not any better. You sit and wait, then meet with a recruiter that has no business being a recruiter. I was looking for a clerical position and I have an extensive amount of experience. I received a call from a recruiter on a Friday and she said I have a position that is a good match for you would you like to be submitted. So I said yes. Another thing is I think they purposely lowball you in pay rate because they get to keep the difference from what the company is paying them. Anyways she said I had to complete some assessments online over the weekend so I did and made sure she had it first thing monday morning. Then by the afternoon I reached out via email to see how things were going and she calls me and says the position has been filled. I don't understand how in less than 24 business hours the position was filled when 1. She called me for the position. 2. She is the recruiter that handles that position 3. It was less than 24 business hours. When I asked her how that happened she gave me a bullshit answer saying that maybe the company ended up filling it or their sister service T and T staffing. Now I know for a fact that is not how recruiting works. If that was the case it would be complete chaos with multiple people handling the same requisition. Then I asked her if she had any other jobs she could submit me for and she said there is one more. ONLY ONE MORE? Out of the entire organization? So she emailed me saying she submitted me for the position and I have never heard back from her. I HAVE NEVER USED A STAFFING AGENCY AND I NEVER WILL AGAIN. MY FRIEND LORI REFERRED ME THERE BECAUSE SHE KNOWS THE OWNERS PERSONALLY. The entire experience was unorganized and unprofessional. You can tell when you go in there it has a very ghetto vibe. Too bad for them because I am very responsible, punctual, have a ton of experience and education and am extremely reliable and hardworking. I absolutely dislike this agency, I had a potential position for myself, I went in, did the whole process. I recieve a call back saying I didnt meet their needs even after my interview she (Connie) said I was a perfect candidate. They are super unfriendly and rude. They're unprofessional in the way they speak to clients, staff and potential employees. I went in in Aug. Then I decided to give them another try because I wanted a second job, but still to this day they are horrible. I believe that they only care about numbers not helping people. I prefer Adecco Staffing in SB. They are the complete opposite. read more

Although I only used Arrow Staffing for testing, I was pleased with my experience. However, I did feel as if I was forgotten about once I was directed to the testing area because it seemed to take longer than I'd anticipated for someone to explain the login procedure so I could get started. Once given the instructions I had no issues with testing. I realized they were training a new staff member so that may have been the reason for the delay. In reading other reviews I do agree the testing area is too close to the main entrance and prone to potential distractions. There was at least one instance of staff (from the rear) speaking too loudly, but only one other person present while I was testing so that was great. Overall the staff I dealt with directly was friendly and especially helpful when there was some confusion regarding the testing fees. I was told by my potential employer that since they have a contract with Arrow Staffing testing was free. However, Arrow Staffing was unaware of this (weird they wouldn't know who they contract services with but okay). Despite the confusion the issue was quickly resolved with an email I was able to show as proof. The front desk staff acknowledged the delay due to training and thanked me for my patience, which was highly appreciated. read more
