The two girls working the front were very nice and welcoming when we walked in. We needed a few minutes to figure out what we wanted, and they were very patient. Ordering was very easy, and there were plenty of tables to choose from once we ordered. The order was ready in a timely manner, and was hot and fresh. I got the taco dinner and the tacos had plenty of meat and toppings. Once we finished, the clean up process was very easy. If I could give one suggestion, it would be to have names attached to orders because when your food is ready they ding a bell and yell out what you ordered, but you're not sure if it's yours or someone else's. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be back! read more

The food was very good, not your usual Tex-mex. The nachos were very unique with tasty pieces of beef.

Exceptional food! Very filling portions at a reasonable price. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting!

Outstanding Order at the counter with a wonderful/happy greeter and enjoy the amazing food read more

The best tacos in all of Michigan!! The service was excellent, the cashiers were the nicest and kindest. The place was clean and I personally loved the decorations! The closest authentic Mexican food I had in the States. You can never go wrong with anything on the menu, but I personally recommend the pastor and the birria tacos. Food was good. Staff was incredibly kind. We came in 30 minutes before closing with a bunch of grumpy kids and they served us with a genuine smile. They even ran out my son's rock to him. Thank you so much for a great experience. read more

Went with a friend last night for dinner - the reviews don't lie! It's next to the Dollar General so my friend hadn't noticed it before. Everyone was very friendly. I had a grilled veggie burrito and she had two tacos (fish and carnitas). She really liked her tacos, they were filled up and messy the way they're supposed to be. The grilled veggie burrito was also delicious. There was a little heat from the peppers and it was great sized. Totally will come back to check out one of the other menu options! read more

Hidden St. Joe Gem! I had the shrimp taco and spicy chicken. You can choose which style you want traditional vs. American toppings. Quick and friendly service with amazing authentic Mexican food. Reasonable prices. read more

Food is consistently good service is quick and friendly and the prices are very reasonable

I order out few times a month. It's consistently great. Never ordered anything I don't love, although the birria is my go-to. The taco sampler is perfect if you don't know what you want. The California burrito is a good choice for picky eaters. Build your own nachos if you're snack, but not starving. Support this place. Often. read more

This was a great little find of a restaurant! The tacos and tostada were all very delicious! We love the authentic style and the chicken steak and chorizo to all be flavorful. My husband found the chorizo to taste homemade and unique. We also had churros that we ordered with our meal, but they said they would make them for us when we were ready to have them hot, they were also delicious! The staff was also great! Very friendly and accommodating! Not a super fancy atmosphere, but for the food and service, it is well worth a stop if you were in the area! read more

I have quickly fallen for this wonderful local eatery. Their location may be small but their food and the staff have big personality. I love - love the sweet potato veggie burrito and my husband says the California steak burrito is a must try. The guacamole is fresh, add some to your order! The only downside, they are not open Sundays. Strongly encourage giving this place a try. read more

Love the food and the sweet people there! It better than most places. I wish they made more fresh watermelon juices!!!! read more

Delicious food! My husband was in Mexico for a couple of months and he wanted to try something authentic here in our area. He said this was as good as the food in Mexico. Give it a try, you won't regret it. read more

This was probably the best food experience I have ever had in my 20 years of life. I am not particularly a fan on Mexican food but boyyyyy was this delicious. There was truly something for everyone and don't even get me started on how welcoming and kind the staff were. I honestly feel like I made life long friends in that restaurant and it will forever have a place in my . ARRRIBAAAAA!!!!! read more

These people have a gift. Super good posole and birria plate. Really nice folks, too. Definitely worth a try.

The best authentic bodega style Mexican food you will ever find hands down. The portion sizes are awesome, and the prices are fair

I'm from Chicago and we have excellent Mexican food, so maybe I'm spoiled but I thought the food here was really not very good. At all. I had a shrimp taco which was okay, but by the time I took my tray to my table to eat it all the liquid from the toppings made the tortilla fall apart. I also got a tamale which looked and tasted like it was frozen then warmed a little too long in the microwave- basically inedible. I got chips and guac, and it was about 20 chips and a 2 Oz container of guac with zero salt, zero lime, zero garlic. The refried beans tasted sour - like they was sour cream mixed in. It just wasn't taste. read more

Ground beef is not Mexican food. Also, after tipping the self-service counter worker for no good reason, she bitched me out for not bussing my plate and trash to a place they have hidden in the back. Still looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant around here. And I'm done with tipping counter clerks. read more

Delicious food for a very fair price! We ordered tacos and burritos... all we're prepared with fresh ingredients and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend Arriba Taqueria's! read more

Great tacos! Chips were very good, as was queso dip. I had birria and fish tacos. Fish tacos were some of the best I've had in a long time.

Ordered the steak taco and California burrito with a side of rice and guacamole. Rice and guacamole were good although I was greatly disappointed by the steak as it was more of a chuck than a flank or skirt steak. California burrito had way too many fries and very little meat but the flavor was good. Steak taco was disappointing because the meat wasn't moist and kind of dry. I'll probably try this place again but with a different protein next time. One thing that was also different was the horchata, which had a melon flavor to it. It was interesting, but I'm not a fan because I personally hate melon. Much prefer the traditional version of horchata. read more

Really good, authentic Mexican food. We had Al Pastor tacos, vegetarian tacos, and birria tacos with the soup. They were all so good. Employees had plenty of patience even for us first-timers who were holding up the lunch line. I foresee this place becoming our go-to Mexican stop! read more

Came in on April 25th with my husband.  I got the chicken enchilada dinner and he got the spicy pork taco dinner.  My husband, in all his smartness, asked for the American taco toppings but then didnt ask for the vegetables to be removed.  The lady who took his order was none too pleased that he wanted the lettuce and tomato off but she did it anyway which was super appreciated.  I wanted to say thank you for that in my review.  Yes, we know you asked, yes it was his mistake and you didnt have to fix it.  But you did and that's what makes this place great.  Will be back soon and next time I'll make him be smarter.  Thanks for awesomeness. read more

This place is legit. I had heard so many great things about this place, but decided to finally try it out for myself and I was not disappointed. First of all, the service was wonderful, the lady taking orders and delivering them was so sweet, even when I obnoxiously couldn't make up my mind when ordering. Ha! The other thing that stood out to us was that you don't feel like crud when you leave. The food is so fresh, well prepared, and not much grease at all! Honestly, I didn't even see any! I had 2 steak tacos American style, and 1 chicken taco, it was wonderful. The steak was seasoned well, and the chicken was too! My fiancé had a beef burrito, and he absolutely loved it! The salsa was wonderful as well, it's my new favorite salsa in town. I will def get it to go in the future! I wish I would have taken more photos, but honestly, just go....it'll be worth it! read more

Was just in town visiting family, who recommend the shrimp tacos, (i love shrimp) so I had to try them! i choose hard tacos and YUUMM! So Good! We went back a few days later and I tried the steak torta, which was also really good! The 3rd time we tried the spicy pork and al pastor tacos (on corn tortilla) and those were good! As a SoCal native I give this lil Michigan town taqueria a big thumbs up! (Keep up the good work/food!) Understandably, It was very busy so be patient or call ahead *on a side note, the fresh hibiscus drink (Jamaica) and the watermelon lemonade were very refreshing and not too sweet! read more

Just demolished a breakfast burrito and some Mexican corn from Arriba, sorry there was no time or thought for photos. I also tried one of their fish tacos, and it was perfect. Everything was mouthwatering and exactly what I needed today. I've also previously enjoyed their taco sampler with all my favorites: birria, chicken tinga, carnitas, guisado, and steak. Their online ordering is a breeze, and I'm so glad I can save all my info for speedy ordering. I frequently drop by for chips & salsa, guac, and pico to go with my home-cooked meals. Every time I order food, I lament the fact that I can't eat everything on the menu. So glad they're right around the corner I've been coming to this place since they first opened. I do miss the weekend breakfast/brunch buffet they used to have, but service has always been exceptional, and it's been nice to see how the business has grown and changed over the years. Absolutely a favorite. If you're in a group and have the option, buy everything and split it family-style . You won't regret it. read more

Service was Excellent!! Carnitas traditional corn taco was out of this world!!! I liked it better then the chorizo and chorizo is my go to. The pozole verde soup was very good.
