The restaurant is small so my sister and I sat at the bar. Very quickly a very sweet woman asked us if we wanted English menus and we did because my sister is not familiar with hot Japanese food. I ordered the Yakisoba with pork and my sister ordered the Tantanmen. The Yakisoba was great but the pork was a tiny bit dry and could have been a little more flavorful. The Tantanmen was fantastic! I kept having little slurps of hers and in the end we poured some of the juice onto my plate to create a custom Yakisoba. LOL! If I was being critical I would give 4 stars but because the service was so friendly this is definitely a 5 star joint. Especially if you are an American. I will definitely go back next time I visit Bordeaux.

They welcome you with the common Japanese greeting 'Irashaimasen' and our server could relay her order in Japanese The noodle shop also was narrow and looked like a noodle shop in Japan.
