Susan Phillips had a big job but for many things she would call or text before getting rid of things. My mother has Alzheimers so I was managing her at my home in DC and my own family while Susan worked to downsize her three bedroom townhouse. The process of moving her things to DC plus everything else was rough. It took time but when I finally unpacked all of my mother's things I found out that no clothes were sent. When I asked about this, Susan said that it was because I had said that my mom had lost a lot of weight. This was illogical and incredibly frustrating to me. I felt dissatisfied with Susan's responses and was concerned by the few documents that were sent to me about what was donated. It made me wonder if Premier Care profited in any way from the sale of anything my mother owned. When I contacted the founder and CEO, Tracy Johnson, she was defensive, showed little compassion and no accountability. She said that she would call me back but I never heard from her and when I contacted her myself, through a lawyer and through the Better Business Bureau, I heard nothing. I will continue to pursue ways to have this company respond and be accountable for the decisions that were made that have had an incredible impact on what is already an incredibly challenging situation. Beware of this company, especially if you need a trusted service to move a parent's home that is far from your own.
