I was referred to this shop by my mother, who shops here regularly. She told both my sister and me that they carry a wide variety of scents -- including fragrances inspired by different Vegas hotels -- and that they can pretty much help you find any scent you're looking for. I loved the idea of having all those iconic Vegas and local hotspot scents in one place. I initially thought it would be more of a self-service experience where you walk around and smell the scents on your own, but as soon as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed by the front desk staff. We were assisted by Tracy, and from the start her positive, bubbly energy was contagious. Tracy was extremely thorough and patient, taking the time to walk my sister and me through several scents we were interested in without rushing us. She really made the experience feel personalized. Even though I couldn't come to a final decision during my visit, I was provided with a scent sheet along with samples of the scents I'm potentially interested in purchasing -- all of which Tracy helped me find with great input and thoughtful suggestions. The overall vibe of the shop is pleasant, welcoming, and comfortable. I'm currently planning to purchase their comfort scent and am still deciding on another. I have been wanting to get a diffuser from aroma for a while. The biggest draw was their exclusive hotel scents for each resort here in town and else where in the country. We decided to visit their location to utilize the scent bar. This allows you to sample all of the scents and speak with someone knowledgeable about all of their scents and products. Tracy, was our scent guru as she was excellent in explaining the process the different scents, the diffusers they have and the promos at the time we came in. Upon getting the home with my new device, set up was a breeze with the use of the app (updated phones and operating systems on phones help with ease ease of syncing your devices, IMO) The device worked very well and provided my home with just the amount of scent that I needed. Love some of the scent but BE CAREFUL! Some gives you really bad migraines. The machine connects to WiFi so it disconnects when it feels convenient. The machine is cheap i already had it swapped out bcuz it broke on me and not the dispenser got stuck inside my machine. I've been a customer of Aroma Retail for a good number of years. Since I live out of the area, I normally pay the shipping fee. This was the 2nd in-person visit when visiting in town. It's definitely preferable to be able to sample all the scent options they have and be helped by their helpful and friendly staff. I came across Aroma Retail when searching online for home scenting oil products, and I was looking for a particular hotel resort scent - the Westin or W Hotel "White Tea". It's light and airy. With their many collections that span beyond Resorts, one is sure to find one that suits their preference. It's not cheap though. But it sure makes the home that much more home-y and comforting. Their CEO was part of the team that developed signature scents for famous resorts and hotel chains. In order to bring these scents to individual households he created Aroma Retail. I could not be more impressed with Aroma Retail. I first heard about them through a Facebook post when my wife and I were looking for scents for our home. We found out they had a retail location not too far from us, so we decided to check it out. I originally went in expecting to buy the Mandalay Bay resort scent, since we've always loved that fragrance. Half-jokingly, I told the gal behind the counter that we especially loved the fragrance of a resort we once stayed at in Punta Cana. To my surprise, she typed a few things into her computer and then pulled out the exact fragrance from our Punta Cana resort. Beyond impressive! She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, walking us through a wide range of scents and explaining how everything worked. She really took the time to make sure we left with all the information we needed. I only wish I had gotten her name, because she absolutely deserves a raise. I discovered this store when I was staying at the Park MGM recently and really like the fragrance in the lobby. I was trying to find out what the scent was and google search led me here. While I couldn't find the specific scent for the Park MGM, I was able to discover several scents I like including Empire and Pacific Breeze. The service was amazing and I ended up purchasing the diffusers, room spray, and refill oil. When I got home, I discovered one of the item was the wrong scent and since I don't live near there, I wasn't sure what to do to get it exchanged. I emailed them and they responded promptly and went above and beyond to fix the issue and get my correct item to me. I ended up signing up for the monthly refill subscription. I find the quality of the scent is a lot better than the cheaper diffusers I bought at places like HomeGoods or TJ Maxx, so it's worth the money. Also, it's pet friendly and have not triggered any allergy issue for anyone at home. A lot of the bad ratings here seem to be related to their machine, but I want to note that you can use the oil in other diffuser machines. I bought one on Amazon and it worked perfectly. read more

I wanted to love this place but unfortunately they've fallen short on multiple occasions. I ordered from them in September and they said the order would be to me in a week. I waited with no communication. I emailed and was told that the product would be in early the next week.(10/7) I waited another week before email and didn't receive any response as of (10/11) so I waited an additional 17 days and emailed two more times. I ended up going to the store today and asking for a refund. Three people scrambled to come up with excuses as to why I didn't get an email back, but when I stated I had had waited weeks for a response, they pulled up my emails and just stared at each other. Bought a $200 scent machine for "up to 1000 sqft". My apartment is 680 sqft. The fluid is $40 for a tiny bottle and the machine which doesn't scent anything other that a 2ft radius directly in front of it and drinks the solution in about 2 weeks, even though device manual states it should last 7 weeks. I took it down and threw the whole thing in the trash, because they only allow 14 days for returns, I suspect because they know it's garbage. For $200 I want to not only smell the scent in every single area of my small home, I want to taste it. Do not waste your money. read more

after having my machine for a few months now, I figure it's time to review. After weeks of research of different brands, I chose Aroma Retail because they are in the USA, machine has an app, doesn't require a subscription, oils are pet friendly and non toxic and you can use other brand oils in machine. I also liked their Hotel scents and piqued my interest more. I purchased the Home101 machine to test it before I went all out on the pro machine to work with my HVAC at a business. I've ordered 5 different scents each $40/4 oz. It's not cheap. upon request, they also sent me many samples to try. The most unfortunate misgiving about Aroma Retail is the app doesnt work. I've installed it on 3 phones: 2 iPhones and a samsung android. The staff are great as far as being responsive to try and help troubleshoot. But they could never resolve the problem. I've tried several dozen times to get this thing to work on my phone but the app freezes before it connects fully to the app. The scents are pleasant and not too strong or over powering. But it does not scent my entire home, not even the entire first floor which is a small living room, kitchen and a foyer. A 4oz bottle lasts only 3 weeks on the default setting, 12 hours at 20%. I can't reprogram it because the app doesn't work and it's too complicated to do on the machine. In fact, I tried several times and could never get anything but event 1 to change. I gave up and reset to default. They knew they had problems with the app as they admitted as much during one of the tech support calls and said this is a common issue. They said it's a new feature so it's not perfect yet but hopefully it will be better with time. i periodically check to see if I can get it to work. last app update they did was 5 months ago per their app site, so apparently they are not interested in fixing this problem. I feel somewhat scammed, duped out of my money. the machine is not worth what I paid without the app feature. they should offer me a refund to offset my machine not working they way it is supposed to. I do hope they will fix the problem as I am stuck with their machine now. read more

If I could give fifteen stars I would - my experiences with this company have been stellar - they have done everything possible to provide the most excellent customer service and it has been such a pleasure to work with them. We moved into a rental house in August 2023 and the scent in the air was amazing - it was exactly like walking into Mandalay Bay from the parking garage when we used to drive to Las Vegas from California (ten years ago) - it brought back the best memories and feelings. We looked around in the house for a scent machine but couldn't find one - eventually found out through the previous tenants that they used Aroma Retail for scenting their home and had taken the machine with them when they moved out. They said if we contacted the company that they'd be able to tell us for sure which scent they were using in the machine - so we ordered a couple of machines on the website (the new model Scent Machine - 101 Smart which can be programmed/controlled through iPhone app and also the smaller Scent Machine - Travel for upstairs). Lightning fast shipping with tracking number provided, that was so nice - and if you live in a location where you can drive to the storefront, they have local pickup that was also super smooth and the product was available earlier than expected ! When I came in to The Smelly Bar / storefront to scope out the fragrance oils, more than one team member was super helpful in looking up the previous tenants' shipment and letting us know what they'd bought/used - but then I was confused that the sample / tester of the fragrance didn't seem to be the same as the scent in the house - and I was also tempted by all of the other oils that are described on the website along with which resorts use them - all lined up in neat rows in small dark brown bottles - and wondering if we should just start over with a whole different fragrance. Both Luisa and Jennette were unbelievably patient with me while I was sniffing fragrances and narrowing down what we'd like - especially after they'd already told me which one was the scent I was trying to find. I was there for a really long time the second time I was there, brought home samples both times - but we ended up with Asian Garden (the scent the previous tenants used, now used in Aria and MGM Grand in 2023) and thanks to the all the time and the test sniffs, we have a list of about ten more fragrances to buy from this storefront in the future when we want a change. This team really cares about making it a nice experience for their customers - whether it's Luisa showing up with an invitation to do online chat if you have questions when she sees you cruising on the website - or when you walk into the storefront and they say "welcome in" with such friendly and welcoming smiles- or when you return later the same day to test out even more scents at The Smelly Bar because you're second-guessing the choices you made the first time earlier in the day- or when you walk in the next day to sort out a credit/refund /purchase situation and were welcomed again and treated so incredibly kindly and fairly by not only the team but the manager Kaylee as well. One of the reviewers on Google wrote that the customer service from this team could be used in a class to teach others how to help others with patience and meeting their needs - it's true. They're enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the products but what's so cool is they REALLY want to help you find what's right for you, seemingly no matter how long it takes. It had to be frustrating for them, I know I took way too long deciding and tried way too many testers but I'm sitting here sniffing the air right now and I'm just so grateful for the time that Luisa, Jennette, Yasmin and manager Kaylee spent with me this past two days. I purchased this in March 2024 after vacationing and loved the smell. This machines is designed poorly. You can't in food faith remove the bottle and insert it back in. I lined it up and re-inserted the bottle and it just started leaking all over. The bottle would not insert completely. The ring when pulled also detached rending the bottle stuck and machine useless. Just 6 months old. I would not recommend anyone buy the machine. The oils are nice, but really pricy. Not sure if different diffuser would work. I threw the machine in the trash- I refuse to spend $25.00 to ship it back for a refurbished one. Doesn't anyone manufacture anything that works and is reliable? I took a video. We bought the smaller in house machine in March. About 2 weeks after having it it wouldn't consistently come on. We brought it back the store and they told us how to do a reset and that we didn't need to use the app at all. Brought it home plugged it in and it worked for a few days. We had to reset it everyday. We brought it back in last Friday and they told us that they would have their technicians test it and get back to us on Monday. One of the girls called Monday and said I hear you're have trouble with the time. Yes the time was not accurate but that doesn't even matter because it still never ran. They called back today to tell me it's working. I picked it up plugged it in after work and it lasted 15 mins then stopped. We restarted it and the same thing- 15 mins. On the second visit to the store we asked if we could get a replacement. They said no they don't do that unless the techs find a malfunction. The machine is a piece of junk. Don't waste your money. Only giving it 4 stars because it's definitely on the pricier side... but then again, you get what you pay for. My travel unit wasn't working so well, so I went in looking to buy the bigger unit because my travel unit wasn't performing as well as I expected. When I told this to the lady there, instead of trying to sell me on the bigger unit, she told me to bring mine in because it sounds defective. Sure enough she replaced it and now I'm happier than ever. Only thing I don't like is on both units I had, the scent would leave a bit of residue on top which I can't find a way to clean; I even tried rubbing alcohol. So I'm not really sure why or when my review disappeared but my experience with this company is not as pleasant as I had hoped. For starters I ordered a few items with the scent they market as being the same scent of the M Resort. Well, I love very close to the "M" and visited the resort shortly after receiving my order. The scent doesn't smell anything like the resort! I'm fact the employees told me there is NO way Aroma Retail could have the scent ingredients because it's PROPRIETARY! I called Aroma Retail to advise them Of this and they said basically go back and get the ingredients and follow up with us on 2 weeks. Secondly, the machine is supposed to cover at least 2,000 sq ft buy you can't smell anything unless you're standing next to it. The machine became louder by the day. I called Aroma retail advising them about the loud machine and basically they said we will send you a return label and take a look at the machine. They said maybe it's clogged or the canister is empty. I explained to them there is about a half canister and it started off quiet but getting louder each day. The girl then explained the machine might be defective. Well, I mailed the machine back today with the half canister of fluid. Stay tuned as I await the resolution. I'm the meantime. Shop elsewhere for your home scent. The fluid is watered down and the machine is cheap. It's NOT worth the money. It's a waste of hard earned cash! read more
