Dr. Holleman's skill set is the very best, but that is not what defines her the most. Her genuine kindness and the respect that she always gives to others is what impresses me the most. Her entire office staff and team reflect her same attitude of always doing the little things to make sure the patients understand what they are doing and why. I Mansour Fadaie visited Secure Dentures & Implants office at 1531 w 81st street Tulsa Ok several…read moretimes. Office was clean and welcoming. The office staff were friendly. Dentists were friendly and polite. I wanted to have a secure denture on my upper jaw. Doctor decided to install 4 implants that the denture click onto the implants. I agreed to install the implants and I paid around $5000.00. After implants healed, I was not sure why they installed 4 implants in front of my upper jaw. You don't have to be expert to know that 4 implants next to each other and in the front of the upper jaw would not hold the denture in place and denture will rock and fall off especially when you try to eat and sometime can cut inside the mouth. Denture will not stay in place because there is no support on each end side of the denture only in the middle. I paid around $5000.00 for this work, and it is no good at all to keep the denture from falling out, even if we use the strongest nylon cap that fits onto the implants. FYI, Nylon caps sit inside the metallic caps that are inside the denture and then fit to the implants. I am not pleased with the dentist's performance and his decision to install the implants in wrong places. This work doesn't do me any good as denture continuously falls out when I try to eat.

But on a personal note, I am also as a victim of strangulation, It has been extremely hard over the years to do things like getting your teeth cleaned, being in new unfamiliar places, or having people in your face etc... But then I found Laura and Her Team. They never made me feel that I was not heard or that I did not have the ability to say I was uncomfortable. Her and the whole office kept things up beat and verbized what care practices they where doing to keep me included. It's been a few years now since I started going to Elwood Dental, and I can proudly say that I can get my teeth cleaned with little of the same stress levels that I had 4 years ago. I'm confidant that they would do this for anyone and that they genuinely care. But I am extremely glad that the universe sent me here and to Laura.

I found Elwood Avenue Dental, I called and asked about the staff, all my questions were answered and I made my appointment. I had issues with a crown for years and Dr Salayta said it needed to be redone. There was no saving it. We had 3 visits, he removed the old crown, prepared the root for the new one and talked me through the whole procedure, step by step. His staff was excellent and knew what he needed next in every procedure and we got the new tooth replacement in about a week. It fit perfect and feels better than the old one ever did!

I was recently diagnosed with tonsil, tongue and lymph node cancer, and Dr. Jump saw me on very short notice to provide a "clearance letter" so I could proceed with my cancer treatment plan. I also wanted some targeted dental work done on one tooth before starting radiation treatment, but Dr. Jump wisely recommended that I take no action regarding that one tooth. How incredible is that! This office performed a root canal and put a crown on a tooth. Shortly after, I switched dentists…read morebecause of new insurance. Three and a half years later, the crown began chipping and causing pain and problems to the point of needing to get it replaced. Since my crown was only 3 and a half years old, I called to see if they would replace it for me for a lower cost. I was told they would only pay 25% of the replacement, making my cost around $475. I explained the situation to my current dentist, Mint Dental, and they discounted it for me charging me only $150. However, this ended up being just a minor problem compared to what happened next. I just got referred to an endodontist because my new dentist saw what looked like an infection in the end of the root canal of this tooth. The endodontist confirmed the infection and said the root canal would need to be redone in hopes on clearing up the infection. If it doesn't, I will have to have oral surgery and they will go through my gums to clean out the infection. Please be aware if you are allowing this dentist to perform a root canal.

The office has top of the line equipment and it is obvious the staff is very well trained. I would 100% recommend this practice to everyone. I have lived in Missouri, Arkansas and now Oklahoma and none of the practices I have been too compare.
