Sävy was a short walk, and the coffee shop I found that opened the earliest. Though it's listed as being open at 7:30, they actually open at 8am. I showed up at 7:47, and happily waited the extra 13 minutes until they invited me in. (What else am I going to fucking do with 13 minutes?). I ordered a breakfast combo that included a croissant, granola/yogurt bowl, and upgraded my coffee drink to a double cappuccino. The barista asked me what perfume I was wearing because apparently I smelled good. I remarked that it may have been the woman ahead of me, but it happened to be the dude's girlfriend, so he was pretty sure it wasn't her. I wasn't wearing a fragrance but the air BnB had a Linden Blossom bath wash...anyways. I was feeling good about smelling good even though I felt like shit. I digress I was stupid hungry, so I demolished that croissant before my coffee drink and granola bowl was ready. It was buttery, flaky, fresh and delicious. "On point" as the kids say. I was too tired to remember to order oat milk with my coffee, so I drank it with whole milk. It was rich, and chocolately like I like my coffee drinks. I might pay for the whole milk later, but it couldn't be worse than the airline food I had yesterday. So fuck it. The granola bowl with yogurt was legit. Breakfast here just hits different. The presentation was great, and it had the perfect ratio of fruit, honey, and cinnamon. I had a little more time to kill so I ordered another single cappuccino with oatmilk this time (internally convincing myself it would offset the whole milk drink) it was also delicious. Additionally, they have a pretty dope music playlist, wi-fi, and cool art on the walls. I'll be coming back every morning until my stay here is up. Kiitos, Sävy

They definitely don't skimp on salmon - large tender chunks. Soup was creamy but not too rich. A variety of bread along with whipped butter and pumpkin spread. Need to get the dark rye bread - Finn's love this. Nice ambience although a tad noisy. Mostly locals the evening I went.

The café offers a salmon soup buffet along with a wide selection of pastries, sandwiches, and salads. The restaurant, on the other hand, is well known for its reindeer dishes. I really loved the location, which is perfect to visit during a day of sightseeing or as a stop between exploring Helsinki. Personally, I enjoyed the café more than the restaurant. While it isn't fine dining, the café offers healthy, simple dishes and a great variety of local favorites. The restaurant has a good selection of menu options; however, aside from the reindeer dish, I found the other items to be quite salty. The service throughout our visit was very good.

They have a lot of retail coffees and gadgets and they also serve beer and wine . I went with a nice strong cappuccino here . I was hoping to get a pastry here and while they had a few there wasn't anything that made me want to try it. They had a couple of savory breakfast options. Service was good and I got my hot cappuccino pretty quick. I sat outside with a nice view of the boats and water. Good people watching spot. Nice cozy place. Was a little disappointed with the food selection though.
