They assigned the case to Madeline Rutowski, who is either completely incompetent or just doesn't care. She claimed she never received documents, despite them being sent numerous time- so she lost them or misplaced them. She got the names of an employer WRONG, again despite having documentation and pay stubs showing the name.(Dan sent an email misstating the name as well, and then tried to cover it up by saying they merged at one point, but no longer. OUTRIGHT LIE). Madeline requested documents piecemeal, instead of telling us ahead of time what was needed. She delayed the process every step of the way. I know people who used other law firms for the same 9/11 VCF issue and their process went very smoothly. I understand it takes quite a while and had no problem with the wait- but when it was CAUSED by the attorneys' we were paying 10% of the settlement to, then I did have a problem.
