Atrocious. They're all about selling you the vehicle (and, in fairness, due to their size they are often unbeatable on price), but the after sales "care" varies between abysmal and non-existent.
I had two pieces of warranty work done on my car. The first was a door hinge issue that was a known fault and a "quick fix", but it meant that the passenger side door didn't sit flush with the vehicle. About a month after they'd fixed it, the fault re-appeared and exists to this day.
Another warranty repair - replacement of steering wheel and gear knob - took over three months to get sorted and involved the direct involvement of Renault themselves. When they finally booked me in, they tried to charge me for a hire car, claiming I could just get the money back from Renault - who had contacted the garage on my behalf to get everything sorted and told them that I was not to be charged.
Renault then advised me in future that there was another non-Arnold Clark dealership elsewhere and that I would probably be better off using them.
We've had similar - and actually worse - experiences through four other AC dealerships and just don't use them for anything more than browsing the vehicles, getting brochures and perhaps test driving... before going elsewhere if we decide we like the model. read more
