Now it was up to us to take on the responsibility of making arrangements for his headstone. Clayton's Funeral Home recommended Stone Unlimited, and we are so glad they did. Stone Unlimited is located near the cemetery, so one day while visiting the grave-site we popped in to ask some questions. We weren't sure what we needed to do or what to expect. We met Marcy, who was wonderful and sat with us even without an appointment to walk us through everything. We had a lot of anxiety from the realization that we now had to figure out how we could ever create something that properly memorialized the patriarch of our family. She knew it was an emotional time for us and was very patient, explaining how the process worked, what the cemetery rules were for headstones, and the cemetery's design approval process. She took her time and explained all of our options without overwhelming us. Over the next hour and a half we talked about things like color, etchings, images, and the ways in which each of those choices could affect the chances of our design being approved. Over the following weeks we bombarded her with questions and revisions, both in person and over the phone, and she never made us feel like we were bothering or inconveniencing her. She was fantastic and was able to create a design that incorporates all of the things that were important to our father: his faith, his Irish heritage, and his career in the NYPD. A design that his wife of 56 years and his 6 very opinionated kids could all agree was beautiful. Marcy estimated it would take about 12 to 16 weeks for design to be approved and the stone created and put in place. Even with an early rejection from the cemetery and some redesign sessions prior to resubmitting, they still were able to set the stone in place just 12 weeks after our original conversation. The care and attention to every detail from Stone Unlimited during this difficult time was amazing. When the completed stone brought tears to our eyes, we knew that we had put our faith in the right people. We cannot recommend them enough.

They pitched the patio ever so gradually away from the door so the water does not pool by the house. It looks beautiful... mulitishaded beige pavers with a cocoa colored border. The three Mexican fellas did a meticulous and artistic job, laying an intricate pattern with the pavers and rounding the corners for a gentler look. We are soooo happy with this job! BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I made the mistake and hired Empire…read moreWaterproofing and Masonry to repair a water leak in my basement wall. Work was started in late October 2022 and lasted until late November 2022. As per the contract signed, the work was guaranteed for 20 years. Five days after the work was completed (and payment was made), the basement wall still leaked. In December, the company was contacted and the owner, Michael Cash arrived to inspect the reoccurring leak. It was agreed upon that if he finished his current job, he would return by late December or the beginning of January to address the problem. It has been two months and he has still not come back. I have received only one call back from Michael with the vague promise that he would be back on January 9. Numerous calls were made and emails sent to Empire Waterproofing & Masonry. Emails go unanswered and when you call or text them, you either get a message that the phone number is not accepting calls and texts or you can leave a voice mail that goes unanswered. Besides poor customer service, Empire Waterproofing & Masonry did not apply for work permits and left an unsafe job site with no barricade around 12-foot-deep trench. The work the company did was sloppy and unprofessional. Pavers in an adjacent area were stained with a waterproof coating they used. The finished surface of the concrete driveway replaced is not uniform and does not drain properly.

Well I was very disappointed with this company I was looking for a contractor to do my patio…read morebecause The old patio was pitched back towards my house the only time the guy answered my texts or phone calls was when I agreed to do the job second his crew wrecked the back of my house with there bob cat and left garbage everywhere third I asked him to do a heavy pitch on the patio. Because I was worried about water , he barley pitched the patio away from the house so that made the channel drain pointless and there's puddles all over the patio fourth he did my neighbors yard at the same time and pitched the water from his house into my yard , so now I have a waterfall from my neighbors yard running into mine he wrecked my grass and did a horrible border to separate my neighbors property that did not stick and had to come back and glue it and use the ten brick pavers that he left me from the pallet that was left over from the job and last but not least took all the brick pavers that I had left over from the job after I asked for them back , so not a good experience ,as a person seemed like a nice guy just bad workmanship and job site cleanliness and pour communication
