Also, my husband and I made the trip in from Muskogee to pick up the memorial jewelry. We were greeted with a hello by staff and let them know we were there. We were told our director would be there to present us with our jewelry.It was gorgeous, and the pendant charm consisted of my father in law's thumbprint and father in law's birthstone, and on the back it says DAD 1954-2022, as my husband chose. It has been quite a start to 2023, but having these pendants is just a little reminder of a great guy that made everyone laugh and cared for everyone, even if he did not show it all the time. We decided to visit S&K in the north end of town and so glad we did. The facility was very nice and clean. The girl working the front desk greeted us promptly, and introduced us to Rick Osborn. It was very stressful being my mom lived in Arkansas, was passing in OKC, and was to be buried in California. Rick walked us through all the steps, gave us all our options, and assured everything would be taken care of. I reached out to a funeral home in California to handle everything out there for me, and that turned out to be a huge mistake. I should have asked Rick to handle that for me, but didn't think about that ahead of time. The funeral home I had been working with decided to drop my business 1 week before my mom's body was to be flown out there, 2 weeks before her funeral. I was stressed beyond belief, called Rick, and he had everything planned, finalized, and ready to sign an hour after I told him what had happened. Rick assured me everything was fine, no delays, and no stress needed. Easier said than done. But Rick is a man of his word. The pricing was great as well. He had asked why we didn't want to do everything in Ca when we first met him, and I told him everything in Ca is way more expensive. He was shocked at the price differences and how much he saved us. The cemetery is beautiful and features historic mausoleums. The cemetery spans over 160 acres. When visiting graves or attending burial site, one may want to use GPS technology to assist with navigation. As with more well-known cemetery, the cost is usually higher than other less known ones, but the quality is also the best.

They professionally and efficiently took care of the rather complex arrangements, which included her death in another state with transfer to OKC for the service and interment. Everything was handled with courtesy and kindness. I decided to post a review now because I have just completed a pre-arrangement agreement for myself. As was the case previously, plans include taking care of my passing where I live now, in another state, with shipment of remains to the family plot in Rose Hill for burial. With no pressing need, I was slow to close on things, asking all manner of questions and reviewing options for almost a year. Through all that, Kimberly Jackson was thorough and extremely patient. She assured that I understood all the possibilities and never pressured me, either for more expensive options or for more rapid closure. Having now dealt with things both 'in the moment of need' and in advance, I would like to recommend that everyone consider pre-arrangement or at least pre-planning. And I would also recommend that you strongly consider H-C/S&D.
