Many issues - this location lost three good teachers in the course of a year. A consequence of this…read moreis that children get passed around to very inexperienced teachers or the short tempered Director who likes to put hands on children and drag them while yelling at them for "ignoring" instead of seeing that the child has shut down. They discriminate against perceived disabilities. They lack basic understanding of cause and effect. Children are a product of their environment. - If you want no dysregulated children, maybe staff more educated/trained teachers and provide a calm, consistent environment - children would behave accordingly. The handbook talks about cameras for the safety of the children - what they don't tell you and what is not in the handbook is that parents are not allowed to view the video to view circumstances leading up to events. They purposely mislead parents, they interrogate/coerce information from 3 year olds without parents present. I suggest going anywhere else but daycares operated/owned by Learning Care Group. I thought it might just be this location and Director level. It is not. The response or lack of response is indicative of a much larger (not even regional) liability/risk governance issue at corporate level. They do not care about children.

He constantly had nightmares and would scream and try to run when I would drop him off. I am not the first parent to report their child being abused at this daycare. DO NOT send your child here or you will be going through what I am going through. Fighting to get justice for my SON. My son was also vomitted and was sick constantly here. They serve children OLD ass food. My son had lost a lot of weight from being there for only 2 months. At his new daycare he is flourishing, he is having fun, making friends, he is not SHY, he is HAPPY. Please DO NOT send your child here.

I was honestly very excited for my daughter to go here for VPK. The facility was so nice and clean…read more We toured about a month ago and she was also very excited. I turned in her VPK certificate and the director advised me I didn't need to do anything else. That she was considered enrolled and to wait for communication about orientation in the fall. Today I get a call from them to tell me that they have decided to not have a VPK morning only (meaning not paying the $200 A WEEK wrap around care fee) program anymore and that I need to come pick up my daughters certificate and find somewhere else to enroll her........ we are a week out from may and VPK classes have BEEN full in this area. I am beyond upset that they just pulled it out from underneath us. To be told she was considered enrolled and for them to say oh nvm a month later is ridiculous and very poor management. I understand you have to do what's best for your facility but that should've been communicated as a possibility a month ago so I could've found alternative options for my child. I am now scrambling to hopefully find a new program for my child in time. Once again poor management on their part.

After spending time in the public school system since Pre-K, along with a stint at a private school…read morewhich has since closed, my twin sons, now 22 years old, began attending Greenwood in the 6th grade. Both of my sons had completed an assessment for admission to Greenwood a couple of years prior, but did not meet the requirements at that time. I was disappointed, because I'd heard great things about Greenwood. Alas, Greenwood knew what they were doing. My boys just weren't ready yet. That's the kind of caring you will find at Greenwood! Any school could enroll students just to fill seats. But the head of school (Mrs Connell, now retired) at the time knew my sons would be in over their heads if they started Greenwood when we first applied. My mother was a teacher. So I've always been acutely aware of what teachers do and have nothing but respect for teachers! I certainly appreciate and wanted a good education for my sons, but trying to find and finance it as a single Mom was not easy. One day, though, the stars aligned, my boys were accepted at Greenwood, and with the help of the McKay Scholarship and financial aid through the generosity of others, my children were where they needed to be, to be their best. Of course, not every student will be a perfect fit at every school. But if your child has an IEP, has learning differences and could benefit from educators who understand that; as well as smaller class sizes - I urge you to check out Greenwood. I will forever be grateful to the faculty & staff at Greenwood... For treating my sons as individuals...for providing an optimum environment...for helping them grow in numerous aspects. I could go on! Greenwood is much more than just a private school. There is a difference at Greenwood. If you are searching for a positive change and a better situation for your child, please consider Greenwood.
