I know some places add an extra charge for using credit card with low purchases, and i hadnt been sure i was going to buy something. I asked if there would be a charge and he said "just tax" and i didnt ask further. Looked at my checking account later that week and I had been charged $10.95. Again, the bin these were in was labeled $5 for three small items (or $2 each) I mean this could be partially my fault for not asking specifics but i was running late for something else. Anyways the guy in there seemed nice but now i feel like his small talk was just there to distract me from asking more about the price. So yeah. Check your bank account after they charge you because they might straight up charge you double without telling you.

I saw a couple 1 star reviews based on returns. RC vehicles that work when sold cannot be returned once used! Too many people damage their RC due to lack of skill then expect a refund for some reason. This is not right! If you do encounter a problem days, weeks, or months after a purchase, contact the manufacturer and see if they can help! This is a hobby to learn and yes, damage and other problems happen sometimes, that is part of the hobby! Badically their prices are the standard, service is kind and courteous, and they have a great selection. 5 stars!

He tells my son to put it back cuz it might get dirty. I heard him say that to him. So he walks away from the fidget toys to me and i asked him i heard what i heard. So i ignored it. A few mins later, I checked on my other son looking at some other toys and im just watching on the other end of the isle. This old guys goes up to my son. My son is rummaging through the bins. He basically tells him to put the toy back. Im watching the whole time and i walk to to them and he tells me he was opening the package, which he was not cuz. Then the kid behind the counter says he was. First of all my kids know not to open any toys without buying it first. So these two people lied to my face to make my son be a bad guy. So my eight year old son starts crying in the store. The old guy said he said it nicely which was far from the truth. He scolded him for looking at the toys. This is a hobby shop with toys everywhere, why would you tell kids to put the toys down. So i put the things back that i was gonna buy and walked out with my kids. I support local businesses before buying online but I will gladly pay the shipping to not deal with that type of customer service. Shame on you guys for treating children that way.

I recently took my son and a friend to dads slot car racing where they had the best time racing…read morecars - and eating ice cream! My son wanted to take 2 other friends back on a Thursday evening. Unfortunately, dads was closed but I saw that mid- America was open for business score! This is way bigger than dads. They had the "professional" racers up front and put us on the beginner track on the back. Lurie set up my kids and also had them racing for 30 min. They all had a fun time despite a few meltdowns, but usually the case with a group of 1st grade boys. The cars and tracks here were in much better condition than dads where everything kept breaking. So if choosing between the 2 locations I'd probably come back here next time. It's a great way to kill some time (especially on a rainy or winter day) and a pretty affordable activity too! I also think would be a fun spot for a kids bday party!

While looking deceptively small outside, the goods inside made my eyes pop - SO MANY OFFERINGS. Board games? Check. Miniatures? Check. Terrain? Check. Paint? Check. And everything in between! The prices were amazing & the staff were really friendly & welcoming. Easily an hour or longer spent in there just browsing & eventually needing a basket since I couldn't carry everything! It's a shame I don't live closer but my wallet thanks me. If you're into any games be it tabletop RPGs or board games, this should be on your radar. I will definitely be back. I fancy myself more of a painter than a gamer and I was impressed with the options for paint, brushes, and tools they had available. I didn't buy anything on my first visit, but my son and friends felt welcomed and were treated kindly, even as teenagers (typically, this has been a challenge). I'm looking to paint an army of space marines soon, so I'll be in to grab some washes and metallics. This place is nerd nirvana.

He is very inviting and super helpful. Not pushy at all. As with most GW stores they have several nice tables and lots of awesome minis. This store is more of the most "active" GW stores in the area. The manager is always hosting events, give-aways, and updates on their location's Facebook page. If you're in the area and are curious about 40K this is the single GW location you want to go to.

It's hard to source air dried wood, but if you sell a steam bending kit you should expect to not be sold the wrong material for it. Steaming for twice the recommended time did not work.
