Ruined my vacation. The man working at the store would not rent a scooter to me with a California license -- even though I had rented cars in Europe with it before. I was very disappointed and had to change all my travel plans. The one star review, however, is for his _rudeness_. I asked him to call a taxi for me to get to the city centre (the walk was 30 minutes in 32 degree heat), and he would not! I told this story to friends from France, and they said the behavior was uncommon -- the guy was intentionally being a jerk, perhaps even discriminating against me because of my ethnicity. Don't go here unless you are from France -- but even then, why go to a place that treats its international customers so rudely? read more
